Chapter 106 - 106 - Reverse Reasoning Is Still Reasoning

"Why did you take so long?"

Hayashi glanced at the green-haired beauty beside him, a little puzzled.

"It's nothing. I just chatted with that kid for a bit."

Eto shook her head, a faintly teasing smile hanging on her lazy, delicate face.

"What did you talk about?"

The moment he heard that, Hayashi felt an inexplicable sense of dread.

"Nothing special. Just small talk."

Recalling what she had said earlier, the corners of Eto's lips lifted slightly.

Hayashi fell silent.Somehow, it felt like it definitely was not good news.

"Do you still remember your promise to me?"

Eto raised her head slightly, a soft glimmer passing through her beautiful eyes.

"Of course I remember."

Hayashi nodded, looking completely natural.

"Then are we going to your place, or mine?"

Eto adjusted her glasses and looked up at him, her eyes carrying an unmistakable hint of provocation.

"Yours."

By now, Hayashi was already used to her straightforwardness.

Eto had never liked beating around the bush. She preferred going straight for the point.

"Then follow me. We'll take the train."

She nodded and started walking forward with her short steps.

But after taking just one step, she suddenly felt her arm being grabbed.

Before she could react, her small, delicate body was lifted off the ground.

"No need for the train. I have a simpler and faster way."

Holding the green-haired beauty in his arms, Hayashi smiled faintly.

The next second, the two of them vanished from where they stood, turning into a streak of white lightning.

"Huh?"

Eto blinked, her clear, beautiful eyes filled with confusion and disbelief.

When she turned her head slightly, all she could see was the scenery around them flashing by. Buildings, trees, everything became blurs in her vision.

Even with all the strange experiences she had been through, this was something entirely new.

"How does it feel?"

Hayashi lowered his head slightly and asked with a smile.

"It's exciting. I almost climaxed."

Eto looked up at him, a flash of exhilaration shining in her eyes.

The cold wind rushed past, lifting her fluffy green hair and revealing her lazy yet exquisite face.

That half-asleep aura she usually carried was completely gone, replaced by a distinctly youthful excitement.

Although Eto had a small, petite body, she usually gave off a cool, mature presence. Only at moments like this did she show a hint of girlish charm.

Seeing her like this, Hayashi felt quite satisfied.

It felt like he had unlocked yet another achievement.Seeing Eto act cute like this was rare.

Because of the incredible speed, they stopped after only a brief moment.

"This is the place." Eto looked up at the familiar apartment building.

"Which floor?" Hayashi nodded and walked straight toward the entrance.

"Huh?"

"You're not going to put me down?"

Eto looked up at him, clearly surprised.

"It's only a few steps. I'll just take you up." Hayashi replied calmly, as if it were the most natural thing in the world.

On the surface, it looked like nothing more than a small gesture of compensation for being late.

In reality, it was much simpler. Holding Eto just felt really good.

Her body was small and light, soft to the touch, and not heavy at all. There was also a faint coolness to her skin that made it feel smooth and pleasant.

The gentle sensation traveled straight from his palm the moment their skin made contact. It was the kind of feeling that made letting go unexpectedly hard.

Lost in thought, Hayashi soon arrived at Eto's apartment.

He unlocked the door and walked inside.

The apartment was not large. If anything, it was a bit cramped.

Inside, there was a large desk with a computer on it, and countless manuscripts scattered all over the floor, making the place look chaotic.

Nearby was a bed, its blanket just as messy.

Beyond the small living space were a simple kitchen and bathroom.

Minimal, disorganized, and lazy.It fit Eto perfectly.

Thinking that, Hayashi gently set her down on the bed.

"Rest for a bit. I'll clean up a little."

He crouched down, reaching for the manuscripts on the floor.

Just then, a slender, pale arm wrapped around his neck from behind.

"Don't rush. We just got home. We've got plenty of time." Eto leaned in close, warm breath brushing his ear, her voice soft and alluring.

"Let me tidy up first. It's really too messy." Hayashi glanced around again. Calling this place a mess would have been generous.

"Relax, young man."

"There's plenty of time later. Why rush this moment?"

As he tried to stand up, Eto tightened her hold and pressed herself closer.

They were so close now that they could smell each other's scent.

Thump. Thump.

Hayashi could even feel the heartbeat coming from her soft body behind him.

At that moment, slender fingers gently hooked under his chin.

"Or are you afraid?" Her voice, teasing and seductive, whispered into his ear.

"Afraid of what?" Hayashi shot back, feeling the fire inside him instantly ignite.

"You know exactly what you're afraid of." Eto laughed, her voice light and musical.

In the next instant, Hayashi felt the weight behind him disappear, along with that faint, alluring fragrance.

When he turned around, he saw Eto reclining diagonally on the bed.

The buttons of her jacket were undone, the fabric lifting slightly.

Smooth, pale skin was clearly visible, and just a bit higher, an undeniably tempting curve.

It was hard to imagine that someone barely over five feet tall could possess such an incredible figure.

Seeing this only made Hayashi feel even hotter.

"Since you say you're not afraid, then come on." Eto curled her finger, eyes half-lidded, every word dripping with provocation.

Damn it. Enough holding back.

Hayashi could not take it anymore and moved toward her.

But just as he was about to pounce, that small, delicate figure suddenly lunged forward instead.

"If you're hesitating that much, then I'll just make the first move." Eto laughed softly, her pale fingers pressing gently against his lips.

She slowly opened her eyes. Scarlet ghoul eyes gleamed with excitement and delight.

"Come on. Let's do something interesting."
