Chapter 56 - Chapter 56 – Reunion on the Sixteenth Floor

"That's… definitely going to be a problem."

Just picturing that scene made Finn sigh. He'd been planning to have Tiona, Tione, and Bete take on the Goliath themselves. But with the monster count spiking like this, who knew if the floor boss situation hadn't changed too?

Right now, Tiona, Tione, and Bete weren't in any condition to fight a floor boss head-on. Their stamina had hit its limit. Finn knew full well that fighting a floor boss required being in top form—one mistake could mean death, but if they managed it, the personal gains would be immense.

The conclusion was obvious: rest. There was no other option.

"Tsuna, I'll be counting on you."

"No problem. Oh, and just a heads-up—the logistics team's caught up."

Tsuna pointed toward the entrance. Finn blinked in surprise and turned, spotting the distant silhouettes of the logistics crew hauling their cargo.

"That's faster than I expected. With that many monsters on the way here, I figured they'd need more time."

"Maybe the monster corpses actually made it easier to move forward?" Tsuna suggested. "Normally, there wouldn't be that many. They must've realized something was off, ignored the bodies, and decided to hurry up and regroup."

Finn nodded slowly, immediately understanding. With Raul leading the logistics team, a quick response to unexpected conditions wasn't surprising.

"I'll have to talk to Raul later. Especially before we start the next expedition."

Muttering that to himself, Finn turned back to Tsuna.

"Since they're here, we might as well transfer the supplies now."

That had been the plan from the start, and with the logistics team arriving on time, there was no reason to delay.

Tsuna stepped forward and created a spatial zipper, attaching it to the stone wall beside the sixteenth-floor exit. Considering they'd be moving carts and crates through, he made the opening larger—a full square doorway instead of a small slit.

Bete's eyes nearly popped out of his skull.

"W-What the hell is that?!"

His brain felt like it was on fire. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't wrap his head around what he was seeing.

Tiona, meanwhile, was thoroughly enjoying his reaction. She grinned as she leaned in beside him.

"Never seen it before, huh?"

He almost blurted out no, but Tiona's teasing look made him clamp his mouth shut just in time.

"Mind your own business."

Even if he didn't admit it, his twitching ears and wagging tail gave him away. The guy was practically vibrating with curiosity.

"Geez, you're so stubborn," Tiona huffed, pouting. "Fine, I'll tell you. That's a rest space Tsuna made for us—me, Tione, and Ais. It's as big as the Twilight Manor inside. We can use it for sleeping, relaxing, or even as a storage area."

"As big as the Twilight Manor…?"

Bete froze. He wasn't dumb—he instantly grasped the strategic value of something like that. It meant expeditions would no longer be burdened by transport or rest issues.

No wonder Loki and Finn were treating this newcomer like a treasure. For the first time, Bete understood the true worth of someone who could create multi-dimensional spaces from imagination.

The ability was completely broken. Overpowered.

And yet… Bete's tail was wagging faster than ever. As a teammate, having someone like that around was a godsend.

Of course, beyond that overwhelming support ability, there was something else on his mind—resurrection.

Soon after, the logistics team arrived at the sixteenth-floor exit and regrouped with Finn.

"Captain," Raul and Alicia greeted, standing straight before him.

"Skip the chatter for now. Get the transport team inside first—we'll explain everything later."

Finn pointed toward the open portal. Raul and Alicia followed his finger—and froze for a split second. Even after all they'd been through, the sight stole their breath. Still, they quickly suppressed their curiosity and began directing the transport crews.

The logistics team moved in one after another, murmuring in awe as they carried supplies inside. The whole process took nearly half an hour, simply because there were so many of them.

"Raul, Alicia, you two go in as well. Calm everyone down once you're inside."

"Yes, sir."

Both of them entered the space, leaving only the executives behind.

"Alright, guess it's our turn. Something tells me we're going to be doing a lot of explaining in there," Finn said with a wry smile. "Pretty sure half of them are losing their minds right about now."

His words were full of mock complaints, but his tone was light. For once, the ever-burdened captain felt an incredible sense of ease—having this kind of support really did make everything simpler. He turned and stepped through the entrance.

"Your mouth says one thing, but your face says another, Finn."

"He's always like that," Riveria said knowingly as she followed him. She felt exactly the same way—finally realizing just how grueling things had been before this. Chuckling softly, she walked in after him.

Gareth couldn't help but laugh too. Once Riveria was through, he clapped a massive hand on Tsuna's shoulder.

"Nicely done, lad."

Tiona and Tione came over, flanking Ais.

"Tsuna, let's hang out when we take a break later!" Tiona chirped.

"Yeah, come over to our side when we're resting. Let the captain handle the explaining. You're still the newbie here—now's the perfect time to dump the problems on your seniors," Tione added with a smirk.

Ais didn't say anything—just gave Tsuna a silent thumbs-up.

After the trio stepped inside, Bete was the only one left standing at the entrance. He hesitated, looking oddly awkward.

"For a rookie… you did pretty damn well," he muttered stiffly.

Then, face set in stone, he stomped forward into the portal—though the quick pace of his steps gave away how flustered he actually was.

"Not that hard to get along with after all," Tsuna chuckled, following him in.

The moment he crossed the threshold, the spatial zipper sealed shut behind him. The metallic outline faded, leaving no trace of the doorway—or the extraordinary space beyond it.
