Chapter 40 - Chapter 40 – Loki, I’ve Got a Bit of OCD

Back in his room, Tsuna opened the Space Zipper to show Loki what things looked like inside the Space Zipper - Rest Space.

"Whoa~ it's way bigger inside than I expected."

Loki took a long look around, then glanced upward at the open sky above them.

"Did you purposely make the time of day match the outside world? Or did you project the outside environment directly in here?"

"I didn't design it like that on purpose," Tsuna replied. "When I was creating the rest space, I just thought it'd be useful to know what time it was outside."

"Figures—it's all imagination."

Listening to his honest answer, Loki couldn't help but sigh in awe. The Annihilation Maker was way too overpowered. Just a passing thought from him, and the space automatically aligned its sky and time with the outside world. Turning imagination into reality to this degree—it was almost terrifying.

"Just a single thought from you, and the ability responds to it," Loki mused. "Right now, it only syncs time with the outside, but that already says a lot. It means the space you've created could function as a self-contained miniature world."

She tapped her chin. "That's probably a hidden aspect of your ability. Honestly, this part alone already surpasses what Annihilation Maker should be capable of."

Tsuna nodded slightly. "Yeah, I've noticed that too. I know Annihilation Maker is supposed to bring imagination to life, but I shouldn't be able to push it this far. Creating things beyond its supposed limits… it's weird."

"Don't stress it," Loki said, waving a hand. "You've only been an adventurer for, what, three days? There's no rush. Just keep a record of what happens when you use your power. As your strength grows and your level rises, the rest of your ability's secrets will reveal themselves naturally."

She wasn't worried about his growth. She'd already seen the kind of absurd potential he had—first through his ability, then through his insane rate of improvement. As long as he kept training steadily, Loki was sure Tsuna would hit first-class adventurer level in no time.

"Alright, Tsuna, take off your shirt. I wanna see how much your Status has changed in the last couple days."

"Okay."

When the Falna updated, Loki's eyes widened at the numbers flickering before her.

"Your magic stat's increasing way too fast."

Strength: I89 → I90

Endurance: I98 → H101

Dexterity: H134 → H135

Agility: H132 → H133

Magic: G201 → E444

"You haven't even been to the Dungeon these past two days—you've just been at home preparing. The other stats barely moved, only Endurance went up by three points. But your Magic... it jumped by two hundred and forty-three."

Glancing around at the vast rest space and remembering the ridiculous Healing Rabbit, Loki could understand why. With how much he'd been creating—everything way beyond normal parameters—his Magic stat shooting through the roof actually made sense.

"Your magic probably skyrocketed because you've been making too many overpowered creatures," Loki said. "And since your ability doesn't even use Mind directly, just imagination, your Magic stat keeps responding to that mental strain. That's why it's spiking like crazy."

"Isn't that a good thing?" Tsuna asked.

"Not for balance, it's not." Loki shook her head. "You're not just a summoner, you're supposed to be an all-rounder. If your Magic grows too fast, you'll have to train even harder to keep the rest from falling behind."

Ever since she first saw his Falna, Loki had known Tsuna wasn't meant for a narrow build.

"Your talent's different from everyone else's. Most people have clear strengths and weaknesses. But you? You're balanced across the board. Everything you touch, you're good at. Magic's your most outstanding stat, sure, but your other abilities can't keep up with how fast it's rising. That means staying at level one long enough to max out all your stats will take you a lot more time."

"That's fine," Tsuna said easily. It didn't bother him. The fast growth in Magic was obviously tied to his ability, and he knew it would probably keep outpacing everything else. Give it time and he'd hit the limit eventually.

"So... what's the problem?" he asked.

Loki sighed. "The problem is patience, kid. You've gotta resist the urge to rush for more power. You can level up fast, but unless all your stats hit their limit first, it's not worth it."

"Oh, that's what you meant?"

He'd expected something more dire. When he realized she was just telling him to take it slow, Tsuna couldn't help but chuckle.

"Loki, you don't need to worry about that. I actually have a bit of OCD when it comes to stuff like this," he said with a grin. "Especially about my Status. I like things neat and complete."

"If I couldn't see my stats, maybe I'd be fine just progressing naturally. But now that I can track my growth in numbers, there's no way I'm leveling up until every stat's maxed out. I'm not wasting a single point."

"I'd rather build my strength step by step. A solid foundation matters more than a quick jump in power. I'm not Ais."

That last line said it all. Tsuna's hunger for strength wasn't enough to make him sacrifice stability for quick results. Power gained too fast only came at the cost of future potential.

And besides, it's not like he needed to rush his growth anyway. Annihilation Maker itself could easily fill in any gaps along the way. Better to build slow and sure.

"Good," Loki said, finally relaxing. She'd been watching him closely, reading his tone and expression to make sure he meant it—and he did. After raising Ais, she'd learned to be cautious around people obsessed with strength. Luckily, Tsuna wasn't one of them.
