Alexandria's POV:
The morning had started off awkwardly, to say the least. I had walked into the room earlier than usual, only to find Raven practically in tears from laughing at my expense. She couldn't stop giggling, not only about the fact that I had somehow ended up sleeping in Xavier's room (and no, when I say sleep, I mean sleep—no hidden meaning here, despite what she clearly thought), but also about my utter disaster of a night.
Honestly, I just wanted to crawl under the bed and disappear. But Raven? She was having the time of her life at my expense. It's not like I could really blame her. I probably would've been the same if the roles were reversed. I couldn't stop the flush on my cheeks, though, and the heat that rose up my neck as she teased me relentlessly.
