Khael's POV
I looked back at the hotel as he drove out of the parking lot at a crazy speed.
The building disappeared out of sight gradually before I could no longer see it.
I turned back to look at him and his grip on the steering wheel sent fear down my body. His knuckles were white from gripping it so tightly.
"I need to go back there". I said after a short while of total distance.
He didn't say anything and just kept on driving, his eyes not leaving the road for a second. His anger was very obvious, the air in the car became heavy but I cannot figure out the reason for his anger.
"He would not drive us to our death right?"
"I went back there to look for you, and you were gone. You couldn't even wait for just a week". He said suddenly, his voice calm and low.
"I had to leave". I replied, calmly although that seemed to be a bad idea.
He finally turned to look at me for a second and turned back to the road.
