"I won't do it," I said quickly, lifting my chin in defiance, even as my heart betrayed me with a sudden, violent thump.
Su Ye's lips curved slowly, dangerously. A seductive smirk played at the corner of his mouth as his gaze lingered on me far too openly. "You said you would reward me, wife. Don't go back on your words now," he murmured.
My ears burned. "No."
He laughed softly, low and amused, as though my refusal was nothing more than an invitation. "You're being shy now?" His eyes traveled over me with unapologetic familiarity. "There isn't a single place on you I haven't seen."
Before I could retort, he rose from the bed and walked toward me.
