Chapter 60 - Chapter 60

Whopperflowers are incredibly difficult to capture and preserve intact!

As a mimetic plant monster, the Whopperflower's survival method is extremely unique.

Once severely wounded, the elemental energy within them rapidly destabilizes, leading to self-disintegration.

Not to mention...

Cryo Whopperflowers, as high-tier monsters, are even rarer.

Almost no Adventurer can successfully hunt one down and bring its corpse back intact!

This is not just a material; it's a rare Alchemy research sample!

Even a Vision Holder might not be a match for this special type of Whopperflower.

"Interesting..." Albedo murmured softly.

He then decisively stood up, his robes rustling, without the slightest hesitation.

He had to see this corpse for himself!

"Prepare yourselves; I'm going to the Adventurers' Guild now."

The Knights of Favonius member was startled, then immediately nodded, "Yes!"

Albedo quickly tidied his clothes, ensuring his experimental gloves and notebook were on him.

He then strode out of the Workshop, heading directly towards the Adventurers' Guild!

Meanwhile, at the Adventurers' Guild in Mondstadt City, the hall was still filled with bustling discussions.

Many Adventurers were still gathered around the counter, staring at the intact Whopperflower corpse, their faces filled with shock and disbelief.

They still couldn't comprehend how such an invaluable corpse could have been brought back.

Even if a Pyro Vision Holder and an Electro Element Vision Holder had teamed up, it shouldn't have been possible.

"Make way! Mister Albedo is here!"

All the Adventurers in the hall turned their heads at the sound, and then they saw—

A young man in a Knights of Favonius uniform, with golden hair flowing like clouds, and a faint aura of Alchemy emanating from under his white and gold cape, steadily walked through the doors of the Adventurers' Guild.

It was none other than Mondstadt's Alchemy genius, Albedo!

"Mister Albedo actually came?!"

"My goodness... Isn't he always busy? He actually came in person this time?"

"It seems the value of this Whopperflower corpse is far higher than we imagined..."

Everyone held their breath, gazing intently at the Alchemist.

Albedo, however, paid no attention to the surrounding chatter.

His gaze instantly locked onto the Whopperflower corpse on the counter, his eyes narrowing slightly, then he slowly walked over.

The Cryo aura in the air had not completely dissipated.

This proved that the corpse had been preserved for a very short time!

In other words, this Whopperflower was hunted down today!

Albedo's eyes flickered slightly, then he looked at Katheryne nearby and calmly said, "Let me see."

Katheryne smiled faintly and handed him the prepared ledger, "Of course."

Albedo took out his gloves and slowly approached the Whopperflower corpse on the counter, beginning his meticulous observation.

All the Adventurers in the hall couldn't help but hold their breath, awaiting the final assessment of this Alchemy genius.

What was the true value of this Whopperflower corpse?

Everyone's gaze was fixed on Albedo!

"I've also prepared a back room for you."

Seeing this, Katheryne thought for a moment and said, "If there's elemental dispersion, I think you can go to the back to study it."

If Albedo were to study it here, and the elements fluctuated, it would surely affect the ordinary Adventurers.

Most of the Adventurers in the Adventurers' Guild here in Mondstadt City are middle-aged or elderly.

"Mm."

Hearing Katheryne's words, Albedo paused.

Then he nodded.

He then directly took the Whopperflower corpse to the room Katheryne had prepared in the back.

The Adventurers' Guild had many rooms.

Many Adventurers even resided within the Guild.

In an appraisal room, Albedo stood by a long table, his palm gently resting on the Whopperflower's corpse, his gaze intently examining the precious remains of the monster.

Its surface was heavily charred, clearly having suffered an extremely violent Pyro explosion.

Even the layer of frost that originally covered it was now just mottled fragments.

Amidst the shattered ice crystals, a faint residual power of Cryo could still be vaguely felt.

This undoubtedly indicated that the battle to hunt this Whopperflower was extremely intense and involved high-intensity Pyro attacks.

"...Hm?"

Albedo's fingers slowly traced the charred outer shell, his brows furrowing slightly.

He detected something unusual.

The Whopperflower's body surface wasn't just simple Pyro burn marks!

Within its texture, a very peculiar energy fluctuation still lingered.

Albedo's pupils constricted slightly.

Then, with a gentle tap of his finger, he took out a small Alchemy bottle from his Pregnant.

He lightly scraped off a bit of the black charred powder from the Whopperflower's surface and placed it into the bottle.

As the powder fell, the reagent inside the Alchemy bottle immediately showed a faint purplish-black Ripple!

This was not merely Pyro energy; it was more like... a special destructive force!

"..."

Boom!

A scene suddenly flashed in Albedo's mind.

The moment his Alchemy Workshop exploded yesterday!

That sudden surge of destructive aura!

Albedo's fingers paused, his expression instantly becoming incredibly solemn.

"...How could it be on this?"

He clearly remembered that yesterday he had accidentally disarmed Klee's bomb, which caused that destructive aura to suddenly release and collapse the entire Alchemy Workshop.

But today, he actually detected the same energy fluctuation on a Whopperflower's corpse!

What was even more terrifying was that it was much more concentrated than yesterday!

This meant that the force had been released again!

Who was it?

Who caused this destructive power to erupt again?

Albedo abruptly looked up, his gaze sharp, directly at Katheryne who stood waiting nearby, his tone much more serious than usual: "This Whopperflower corpse... Who brought it?"

Katheryne was startled; she rarely saw Albedo with such a serious expression.

But she still calmly said, "It was Mister Lin Mo from the Adventurers' Guild, accompanied by your sister Klee and Fischl."

"If Mister Albedo you wish to know more, I suggest you ask Klee yourself."

"After all, she was the one who brought this Whopperflower corpse back."

"According to the information, this Whopperflower corpse was discovered and hunted by Mister Lin Mo, Fischl, and Miss Klee, when the three of them went out exploring and gathering resources today."

Katheryne knew that Albedo always treated Klee like his own sister.
