Meanwhile, another man—tall, black-haired, and sharp-jawed—hung his coat neatly on the rack. Even from here, I could see the muscles under his shirt.
"If you're hungry, order whatever you like; I'm the best cook here, by the way." he said with a polite nod, flashing a calm, dangerous kind of smile. "Gong Min-jun. Nice to meet you."
"Wow…" I murmured. "You look far better than the news."
"Appreciate it. Enjoy your new home." Minjun spoke like a real gentleman before he walked to the kitchen to prepare food.
Moon leaned close and whispered, "That's Mr. Casanova himself. I and Tom call him Big Daddy. Used to work in an office, now he's our resident gentleman. Careful—one look and he might steal your heart. And the dude watching anime with ice cream?" He pointed at Tanny. "That's Tan Jae-Hoon. You've probably seen him in Love Me, Grim Reaper. He's into cosplay and sweets. Total cinnamon roll."
"He really seems like it," I laughed.
"Now, if we're talking Tanny, we have to mention Kai Ye-jin—or Mikki, our fearless leader!"
As if on cue, a tall guy with green-highlighted bangs came through the door carrying bags of food.
"Dinner's here! Fried rice and kimchi for everyone!"
Moon cupped his hands and yelled, "Got any fried dignity in there? I could use some!"
A sandal flew across the room and smacked him square in the face. "See? He really does give us everything!" Moon grinned dreamily.
"You okay?" I asked, trying not to laugh.
"All good~ Just another day of love and violence."
Then he froze for a second, like he was staring off into space. "Addicted."
I acted in confusion. "What?" Is he high?
"Games, man. Don't spend too much or you'll be broke, ha!" He strummed a cheerful chord. "Anyway! Two weeks till our comeback. It's gonna be fire. Money raining, fame rising, dreams flying—wooo!" He strutted back toward his room, only to get the door slammed in his face by an irritated Jinam.
"Moon, if you ever make the fucking noise again, I SWEAR!"
Moon tumbled backward off the balcony and crashed onto Mikki who was holding a bowl of popcorn. "Brace for impact~!~" Moon screamed.
And the popcorn scattered into the air like snow. "Moon! What the hell! My snacks!"
"The boss kicked me! I swear!"
I stifled a laugh—just in time to see a guy with bright blue hair land a hoverboard on the rooftop terrace. He stepped in quietly, face half-covered by a mask.
"Lucky's here," Tanny whispered, tugging my arm. "White, this is Lucky Siwon. Don't take it personally—he's not much of a talker."
"Nice to meet you," I said, holding out my hand. "You must be Lucky of the Seven Seas."
He looked at me for a long moment, quietly observed… then simply walked past as if I were air.
"O…kay. Guess he's not feeling it today," Tanny said, patting my shoulder.
I smiled faintly. "Nah. He's cool in his own way."
I turned back to the chaotic living room and couldn't help but grin."This place is gonna be wild."
Tanny beamed. "Always is. Welcome to the D8 family."
