What you remember... is what I never want to forget. The traces of our past are carved deep within my mind ever since that day.

When I opened my eyes that bright morning, something felt wrong. The bed beneath me was small—so small it looked like it belonged to a child no taller than one and a half meters. My feet barely touched the floor. My hands were tiny. And when I looked toward the window, I saw it—a lone tree standing proudly in a sea of flowers.

"Huh?" My voice came out higher, softer… like an eleven-year-old's."Where… am I?"

The room around me was cluttered with old posters of long-forgotten artists, the kind I used to love. When I turned toward the wall, I saw a dusty calendar—dated more than ten years in the past.

That was when I heard it: the strumming of a guitar, followed by a familiar male voice singing outside the house.

Pretending to be an orphan, though I still remember it all...As time goes by, the memories fade—shrinking, slipping away.

"Honey, I think today's going to be a great day for me," said a man's voice from outside the door.

"Hmm? Why is that?" came a woman's gentle reply.

I hurried to the door, turned the knob, and stepped out.

The door creaked open, revealing a small kitchen connected to the living room.Mom stood by the counter, placing a cup of coffee down in front of Dad, who was half-hidden behind his morning newspaper.

"I'm getting promoted!" Dad announced, lowering the paper with a grin that didn't quite reach his furrowed brow. Mom turned to me, her face hidden behind painted cardboard, smiling through tears that trembled in her dolly eyes.

Maybe it was because I didn't remember their faces anymore…Or maybe, deep down, I just wanted to forget them.

"So that means we're getting a new house, right?" I heard myself say.

Dad chuckled, "Not long now."

"And where's Seokjae?" I asked.

"Your big brother's outside, working on a new song. Go find him, sweetheart." Mom pointed toward the sunlight streaming in through the window.

"Our boy's got your spirit, honey! Bet he's going to be a hot one just like you! Ha ha ha!" Dad teased.

"Oh, shut up and drink your coffee, you old fool, hmhmm" Mom laughed softly.

I walked past them and opened the door to the backyard.Warm sunlight spilled through the frame, brushing my skin like a gentle embrace. Before me stood that single, magnificent tree—its leaves swaying under the soft breeze of spring.

And when birds like us have flown our separate ways, there'll be no one left for me to hold anymore, right?Hey~~

♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫

A young man sat beneath the tree, a hood pulled over his head, a guitar resting on his knee.He was perched on a rock surrounded by pink wildflowers.

Across the river stood a mountain, and on its slope—huge white letters spelled out "SEOUL."To the left, the city skyline shimmered faintly under the morning sun.

I stepped closer, the grass brushing against my knees, until I was only two meters away from him.

It's time, isn't it?Time to remember.Time to meet again.Time to be—happy.

♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫♫

The final chord rings out.
