"Liam,"
Isabella called my name as tears rolled down her face. The first order of business was getting her strength back. For that, I offered her my blood. I offered her my wrist, but she didn't even react.
"Y-You really came for me? I thought you wouldn't have."
"Don't be silly, of course I did."
"But Allucard, he'll…"
"It's fine, you don't have to worry about that anymore," I assured her, then offered her my blood again.
"I can't. This is all my fault, I shouldn't have left. Because of that, I put you in danger to come after me. You should've just left me here…"
She was spiraling, blaming it all on herself, so I did the only thing I knew would snap her out of it. I brought her close and kissed her on the lips. The moment our lips touched, her face returned a bit of its color.
I then brought my lips closer to her ear, which was now bright red. I whispered something so that only the two of us knew.
"I love you, Isabella."
