After our hunt, Selthia, Isabella, and I went back home. We had found a few malgechos wandering around in the forest so our hunt was successful. As we approached the lodge where we all stayed, I heard shouting coming from the inside.
I immediately recognized who the voices belonged to.
"Don't be an idiot! Dad wouldn't want you to be so reckless!"
"No, he wouldn't want us to sit around and die."
The shouting was coming from Kaelen and Lyanna. The two of them saw us enter the lodge, but they didn't even stop their argument to pay us any mind. The only person who bothered to glance in our direction was Allison. She and Kaela seemed to be trying to calm the two while their mother sat with her legs crossed, enjoying another bottle of wine.
