The next morning, Alpha Roran rose from his slumber in a foul mood. After last night's discussion, he finally made up his mind to do something. He got up to leave the camp they had made, but to his surprise, his sister was already awake.
Her eyes were baggy as if she hadn't slept the whole night. She didn't even notice him; instead, her eyes were locked deep inside the forest as if searching for something longingly.
"What's wrong?" he asked, his words startling her a bit, and she quickly turned in his direction.
"Oh, Roran, you're awake."
Seeing the sad look on his sister's face, he couldn't help but feel a bit worried.
"Is something the matter?" he questioned once again.
She looked at him with teary eyes but then quickly wiped her tears away.
