I jumped in excitement laughing at the news I just heard 'Mana exist and I can use mana', this was something I never thought about happening cause afterall its freaking magic we are talking about. It has almost endless possibilities to what I can do with it, I held the bot high up in the air "You are not joking right? I can really use mana?", "Affirmative Master, your body has higher affinity for mana and an almost mature mana core, but the way you are using it is not very conventional", the bot replied. "Not conventional? How so?" I questioned it like a child starting to learn how to read and write new words. "When Master tried to grab me from your back I noticed how you said 'Give me strength' for the chanting", "So... What's wrong with that?" I tilted my head to the side thinking what could have wrong was it the way I said it or should I have said it louder?. The bot wiggled around and jumped out of my hand and landed on the ground "Allow me to explain" a portion of its eyes started to glow and a projection screen popped up with a diagram of human body with an orb on the chest and nerve like structures going through the body. "What you are seeing right now is an illustration of mana core and mana veins in a human body" I looked closely at the diagram 'Is it the thing that makes that warm feeling inside my chest' I asked to myself "Affirmative Master" I moved back "What the-.... Did you just read my mind?" I gave out surprised tone. "Affirmative the Master contract helps me to read your thoughts.." it paused 'It also helps you to hear my thoughts as well' I heard the sound in my head, though it is a weird sensation I don't exactly like or dislike this method. "What kind of Android has the ability to read into someone's mind? That's some crazy shit" I got curious "Let me correct you, I am not an Android like you think, I am a Qualtz" it said in a proud tone making some red lightning sparks around its body. The red lightning made me realise something, something I forgot "You are the one who killed all of the people back in the hospital weren't you?", "Affirmative, though I would have preferred not to be violent I had no other choice at that moment" it said in a normal tone but I could somehow tell it was regretting the whole thing or more like it was sad. That sparked another question "Back in that weird ocean I sensed a kid, was that you?", "Affirmative, I was with you in the mana sea", "Then how come I saw you as a child instead of your this spider like form?", "It's because I am a Qualtz, Master", "Then.. WHAT THE FUCK IS A QUALTZ" I snapped at it, I don't know why I was angry or mad it just felt like all of my anger I have been bottling up suddenly popped out, 'Am I that much frustrated'.
There was nothing but silence for a few moments except the cold breeze glazing through my body, I sighed then sat straight my face facing down feeling ashamed at my own outburst. The bot slowly moved towards me its eyes looking at mine "Are you feeling alright now Master?", even though the tone was normal I could tell it was afraid, worried and sad. I wonder why?.. , why would an Android be worried about me? Is its part of its programming? I don't know it yet, "Yea.. Am fine" I paused "Sorry about that earlier, I wasn't in a right state" I said with a smile or something resembling a smile. There was silence again 'It's awkward, I need to change the topic' , "You said you are a Qualtz right? What exactly does it mean?" I asked but this time calmer, the bot jumped back "I am an automated mana weapon", "Mana Weapon? Like a photon blaster?" I asked trying to think just what kind of weapon it is. "No Master, we Qualtz were once made to fight against the invading dark voyagers", the same projection screen popped up again and in it I saw ugly deformed creatures led by some sort of flying people against humans, but the place wasn't which I was familiar with, the buildings and weapons used by humans doesn't look like anything I have ever seen, I watched the people getting murdered, torn apart or eaten alive while they screamed in pain eventhough I couldn't hear it I could tell they were screaming from the clip I saw. "What exactly is the dark voyagers?" I asked "We don't know yet, they appeared suddenly and started their assault, the planet didn't had mana before but these entities used mana which made humanity's weapons almost useless against them, then one day when all hope seemed lost the sky bursted open and four people came to our rescue" I saw the creatures getting overpowered by a fighter who used a spear which emitted lightning and flames annihilating the so called voyagers. "We later learned that the ones who rescued us were gods from our myths and the dark voyagers are just a mere scouting front for a planet eater", I was sweating from what I just learned. These unfamiliar terms, monsters that came to invade and eating out people alive? 'This stuff is fucked up'.
"Yes Master, it wasn't such pleasant times for us either, humanity was almost driven to the edge of extinction" it paused turning off the projection screen "If it wasn't for the help we received from the Gods we wouldn't have existed right now". The more it spoke the more confused I became about everything "Hey you are telling me that all of these stuff happened in the past right?", "Affirmative" I paused contemplating whether I should question this thought that's gnawing away at my mind or just think of it like something I couldn't comprehend. "Then how come none of these events were ever recorded in our history?" I had to ask, throughout my life in academics I have never heard about such things happening to our past. "The answer is simple Master, its because it hasn't happened here yet" I was dumbfounded for a moment "The fuck you mean it hasn't happened here yet? Then what were you showing me all this time? Some random video?", I was enraged, like one moment you tell me humanity was almost driven into extinction but then you tell me it hasn't happened yet. "Master, the video I showed you was from the planet Earth located 380 light years away from our current coordinates", there it is again each time the bot gives me a answer it only makes me question more stuff, I can't reach at any kind of conclusion whatsoever. "If it happened on another planet then how is that our-" my words got cut out as I heard a loud explosive sound sound coming from my right near a slope. I ran up towards the slope while the bot followed me, 'What was that sound just now?' "Master high density of mana storms has been detected", the sight in front of me truly caught me off guard at the huge distance I saw my city. The border walls with the number C90 indicated it was my city, there were smokes coming from within then followed by ground shaking quakes, I watched as a huge lump of brown mush like thing rising from within the city wiggling slightly as it moved upwards to the sky towering just as big as skyscrapers. It had a pyramid shape at the top with black colour, moments later the top pyramid split opened into three ways and I heard a bellowing roar. The sound made me dizzy, it felt like my eardrums would burst even at this distance, I seemed to forgot something.. something very important "M######" 'Huh?... What was that?', "Ma###" again someone was saying something but I couldn't hear. My insides felt heavy as I was sweating buckets. I felt a sudden sting on my back "Master please breathe" it said, that's right I need to breathe... I forgot to breathe.

"What other choice do I have Doomsday.... In the grand scheme of things this is how it should be"
