Beatrice walked into Andrew's office, high and proud, since the news of her engagement to him was already airing on national TV.
She politely greeted a few colleagues she was close to when she used to work as a secretary before heading straight to Andrew's office.
"Miss Beatrice, Andrew, sir is not in his office," The secretary at the desk said.
"It's okay. I'll wait for him to finish," Beatrice said before she walked inside the office.
She looked around, a sense of accomplishment running through her bones. The same place she used to work at, hoping to rise in position, was soon to be her husband's office.
Soon, she would become the lady of the man who owned this massive place.
The fact alone made Beatrice smile, and she walked to the large desk made of oak wood.
