Ugh… why do I always cry over something like friendship uhhh huhhh...? Rolls over pillow Hmph! Then bite pillow I'll find better friends… Rubs my stomach, glances at mobile Ohhh… shit, shit!! 20 missed calls from Lyric, Amara, Lucas… ugh, I'm late!
I throw off the blanket, get out of bed, and hurrying up then trip over the floormate. Ugh… my life...!
Crawl a bit ahh..., get up, rush to the bathroom, and take a fast shower. Where's my cupboard, cupboard please na please see me ?! Ughhh… why can't I see it?! Am I blind now too?
I rummage through the cupboard, frantically choosing clothes. Uh… should I wear this or this? Finally settles on a blue top and white jeans, looks at myself in the mirror while drying my hair. Uhh… huh… whimpers Why do I look so ugly?
Mumma !! Ruffles hair in frustration, whimpering my mirror hates me and I hate you too puchu mirror ugh*stomp my leg * changes into a black top and cargo pants, styles hair hard.
I grab my mobile and toss a mythological book into my bag—maybe it'll help me understand this mess. Downstairs, I hurry.
"Mumma! I'm going, I said!"
My mom's not having it. "My sleepy piggy head daughter, first eat breakfast!"
"I'll come! I'm already late to go to my friend's house…"
Mumma please na!!
Her patience: not impressive. "It's not my fault! How many times have I told you to sleep early and wake up on time?!"
After being dragged to a full breakfast, I finally leave with my sister, taking her scooter. Midway to Lyric's house, I realize—I'm wearing bathroom slippers.
I whine, "My dear, pretty, cutie-pie sister~"
She glares. "Say what you want, fast! I know you want something. Please turn back; I'm wearing slippers, sis."
I mutter a million curses, rush back home, put on proper shoes, and finally arrive at Lyric's house.
The maid directs me upstairs. I mumble to myself. "His house is so pretty… just resembles Lyric."
Lyra greets me: "Well, well, the empress finally decided to show!"
"I'm sorry I'm late today. Did you find anything in the book or box?" I ask.
Lyric sighs. "Same as before… maybe it has a locket in box but that disappears."
Draven continues, "And the book is locked with a key-type thing. We tried to rip it, didn't work."
*I sit in couch*
Anny groans, "Ugh, why are we even here? We should go ask a priest! Use some common sense! Seriously, whose reckless idea was this anyway, Draven? Why are you even with them in this stupid plan?"
I mimic Anny in my mind. "Draven, why are you even with them, huh? Don't know if they're a couple or what… sometimes I just want to ask directly."
*I try to said to anny* "I—Anny, but—"
Amara and Lyra interrupt together. "Anny's right. We should take the help of a priest. Lucas, Lyric, and I agree too."
Anny snaps at me: "Elina, you caused all this! And now, with your stupid idea, you're making us die!"
I clench my hand, thinking how my dear friend Amara never takes my side she's sure I'm wrong. For her, support is conditional.
Lyra sighs, "Elina, accept your mistake if you made a reckless plan. Amara's right."
Lyric adds, "Calm down, guys. Elina, I think Anny's idea is correct. Let's try that first."
"Okay," I say slowly.
Draven interrupts, "Yesterday, Anny wasn't even there. Me, Lucas, Lyra, Lyric—we were. Lyric suggested we come and think things through. No plans were made yet. So who told you Elina did everything on her own?"
Anny mumbles, "Uh… I thought…"
Draven frowns. "She didn't say anything, right? Just don't put your assumptions as objections onto someone else."
I think in my mind. Why… why?? Did he take my side? He usually sides with those who taunt me… not me. Why this time? My heart races.
Draven continues, "Lyra, Lyric, you were there too… right? Or are you ghosts that don't remember? Elina didn't do say anything suggestions yesterday."
Silence fills the room.
Lyric apologizes to me; Draven forces Anny to apologize; Lyra and Lucas do too—but not Amara. I turn my head, unsure.
In my mind. Okay… he supported me today… but yesterday, he called me overweight. Hmph✨
I freeze, time threatened to stop."I'll stay and try to open the book," I say quietly.
"Just try, not force it."Lyric volunteers to stay, Lucas too.
Draven jokes, "If you all stay, who'll go to the church?"Anny insists Draven you will go to as I said it, but he grins dramatically, "I believe in demons. If I go, I'll burn ❤️🔥—please, spare me!"Somehow, after their bickering there chessy fight
, it's decided: Lyric, Lyra, Amara, Lucas, and Anny head to the church for help, while Draven, and I stay behind.
I beg Amara to stay but before that but Lyra grabs her first. Amara leaves with her, and it stings. Am I really her best friend?Left upstairs, I fiddle with the book, desperate to crack its secret. Suddenly, Draven sidles closer—not too close, but enough to feel my nerves buzzing.A quiet voice.
Time feels frozen. I stumble, he smiles, and our eyes lock. He finally says, softly: "Sorry…,😶"
"Did I do something wrong?" he continues. I stay silent.
He repeats, "Sorry… sorry… sorry…"
"Ma'am, please talk now, my Topper madam~" I glance at him, smiling for the first time feeling this close. No one has pampered me like this.
He pokes my arm gently, reminding me of a dream I once had where he tugged at my cloth.
I say, "Finally! Well, you should have gone with Anny. Why stay here? Go to your bestie~"
He pokes my face. "Why are you angry with me? What did I do?"
"Wow… you don't even know your fault!"
He says, "Then tell me nah~"
I respond, "No, nothing!"
Draven: yes say mam answer yes yes yes!
Our playful 'yes-no' argument continues until… sharp pain! A needle pricks my finger. Blood drops onto the book. Don't know where the needle came from we noticed that blood drop at book....
Draven quickly covers it with a handkerchief. "Why are you so clumsy?" he teases softly.
We stay locked in eye contact for a long moment, just like lost in them ignoring footsteps.
Lucas interrupts, "Guys, we're here. I'm out of breath!"
I shove Draven lightly and look out the window.
Lucas asks, "Did you taunt her again, Draven? She's angry again?"
Lyric shakes his head. "You two are like children, triggering each other one kid as clod as another one as trouble one."
Draven and I say together, "We're not!!"
Lyric waves them off. "Okay, okay… chill.
I say well we can't open the book..
Draven say rubbing his back of his neck So, what did you find?"
Anny sits beside Draven. "It's a very powerful dark energy entity. It can lure us, attract us… it will do anything we want… then turn against us."
Amara adds, "The entity wants a soul… a body to rule over… to trap people in its tragic run of world."
Lucas continues, "We told them about the book and shared pics. They warn: no blood should drop on any of these objects. If it does, it gains power."
Lyric nods. "For now, no problem. Keep the book safe. We can't do anything until blood is spilled. Good thing it didn't open."
"I agree. Lyrics say Let's have dinner and sleepover here tonight,"as for now we don't have danger from it it just give nightmare and paralysis attack to us but can't harm us.
Draven say so till now bloods drop no mystery open and it ends the story of mystery too..*stretch his arms*
. Lucas puts the box and book on a high shelf.
I invite Amara downstairs. "Let's go."
"I'll come back after restroom," she says.
I nod. "Okay."
She comes out and notices a glowing locket in my bag. She mutters to herself. "Is this hers… or from the box? How did it get here?"
The locket's jagged edges sink into her finger like tiny, merciless blades. Pain bursts through her nerves, sharp and stabbing, a hot fire that shoots straight up her hand.
She gasps, clutching her finger as a thin line of blood wells up, glistening dark and heavy
. Each heartbeat seems to press the wound deeper, and the metal digs mercilessly, leaving a raw, open gash.
Blood drips steadily, almost as if the locket itself is drinking it, spreading across the edges of the sharp design. She panics, shaking, whispering, "Oh no… oh no… what do I do now?!"
Worried, she keeps silent.she thought what if all blam her it better not to tell anyone and i already washed it fastly so nothing go wrong.
Breath coming in short, shallow gasps, she presses a cloth to the wound, the metal still cutting against her skin with each tiny movement.
She finally head to the dining table, all tense but safe… for now.or we thought as in our just in mind because it not that ends easily..thes storms that stop for little bit it doesn't mean it will stop for now it means it will go big and do devastation ⚡
