Hui'er jumped backward just as Tang Yeye was also struck and scattered. Both their bodies rolled clumsily together but still weren't injured.
Both of them quickly got up again. But this time, because of the commotion, the group of people waiting outside began entering to look.
The two little children began to feel stressed. With just ten people, they could barely escape. If the thousands outside joined forces, there was no way both of them could flee from this mountain.
Hui'er stood up to face the head priest whose gaze was even more fierce than before. He was holding his swollen, puffy cheek from her punch while walking forward.
"There's no escape now... Accept your fate peacefully."
The scarred man spoke in a low voice.
Hui'er regulated her breathing like she did earlier again. She was trying to enter the "state" where she could fight him.
But it was meaningless. The little child felt like her body suddenly weakened. Even her mind began to become unstable, as if she could lose consciousness at any time.
Her legs began trembling slightly. Tang Yeye, seeing her older sister's abnormal condition, began to feel afraid.
"It's over!"
But at the instant he would capture them again, behind him appeared a huge black shadow that blocked out the entire sky. Heavy pressure came along with scorching hot breath. The group who saw it were all stunned speechless, unable to move their legs.
The head priest slowly turned back to look. The instant he turned, his gaze met enormous flame-red eyes that seemed to truly have fire blazing within them.
"D-Dragon Queen?"
What appeared before everyone's eyes was the huge, giant body of a crimson red dragon. Just the wings alone spread wide beyond sight. The head priest was about to be pleased and speak their purpose for coming here, but the Dragon Queen instead roared loudly until they couldn't prepare themselves.
The group of people nearest felt like their eardrums would shatter into pieces. Just the sound alone was enough to make them dazed until losing consciousness.
Some even fell rolling on the ground because they couldn't keep their balance.
The next instant, the Dragon Queen raised her head toward the sky. Her enormous mouth opened wide. Anyone could sense the heat that was supremely dangerous gathering together.
"R-run quickly!" It was the head priest who came to his senses before his companions. He quickly ran desperately out from that area with all his might.
But it was already too late.
ROAR!!
The flames compressed in the Dragon Queen's mouth were comparable to destructive light. They shot at the nearest group and incinerated everything until nothing remained. This attack had no ally or enemy, only the desire to vent the fury packed in her heart.
The head priest who became ash didn't even have the right to lament before death. Besides the opposition group that fell dead nearly half in one attack, its power destroyed this mountain until it was like hell!
Blazing red flames were burning throughout the entire valley. They spread so quickly there was no way to extinguish them in time. In just a blink, this place became a sea of fire!
The Dragon Queen lowered her head. After venting her emotions once, she calmed down.
"...Humans!?"
At the center of the earlier attack was only a deep pit filled with charcoal and ash. But at the bottom of the pit appeared the bodies of two little children lying unconscious and still.
Around their bodies appeared a power currently bearing the damage from earlier. But it was trembling faintly like a candle flame about to extinguish.
It seemed Bai Fanxian's Intent would dissipate at any moment!
The Dragon Queen was extremely displeased.
The mind that had cooled moments ago became scorching hot again.
Tremendous heat began gathering into that enormous mouth. She would use the same attack again to crush those annoying humans from her sight in one go.
ROAR!!
Fierce flames full of destructive power burst out again. This time it aimed directly at the bottom of the pit where two little children were sleeping! The other half of the opposition group who saw the next wave of attack all tried to flee for their lives.
They all ran down from this valley. Even the distant foot of the mountain, they still felt wasn't safe!
Flash!
But before those tremendous flames could touch both children, the "Fire Pearl" now hanging at Hui'er's neck glowed with brilliant red light.
BOOM!
A violent clash occurred at the bottom of that pit. Only when the Dragon Queen's attack ended, instead of Tang Yeye and Hui'er becoming ash, they still lay motionless without a scratch once again!
"...What!?"
The Dragon Queen voiced out in surprise. That earlier attack definitely hit fully. Not just her—even those fleeing for their lives still gaped when they found someone could survive that attack uninjured.
The answer was the Fire Pearl greedily absorbing all the flames in. It was like a bottomless black hole that could swallow all her flames completely. It glowed brilliant red light while releasing pressure.
"Hmph!"
The Dragon Queen roared lowly. If fire couldn't do anything, then she needed to use physical attacks!
Sharp and dangerous claws were swung in almost immediately. This time the Phoenix Fire Pearl couldn't prevent this attack anymore.
Except that before the claws could crush Tang Yeye's body, a hand both small and delicate rose up to catch those claws first!
Clench!
The Dragon Queen's eyes widened in surprise. Because the little child who owned that annoying pearl had shockingly stood up. But the most unbelievable thing was that person could receive her claws with bare hands!
Hui'er's gaze at this moment was like someone in a daze.
The little child tilted her head as if confused. But those small hands were able to fling away the claws she held as if they were weightless.
The Dragon Queen's huge body staggered until she almost fell from not being prepared. She quickly flipped and flew up into the air.
Her eyes stared at the little child standing at the bottom of the pit.
Some strange and dangerous feeling emanated from that tiny body. She didn't want to believe it, but her instincts were crying out warning that this human child could harm her until injured!
Hui'er tilted her head again. She clenched her hand lightly—fierce crimson flames no less than the Dragon Queen's blazed up until flooding her small hand. She stared at it as if looking at a pleasing toy. No matter how violently she swung her hand back and forth, the flames wrapping her hand would never extinguish.
The little child's body slowly walked up from the bottom of the pit like someone sleepwalking. She stopped paying attention to her own flames and stared at the enemy before her instead.
The Dragon Queen narrowed her eyes. She made eye contact with Hui'er's eyes that were both empty and sparkless. If this human wasn't moving, she would surely think she was dead or unconscious.
"...Who are you?"
The red dragon decided to speak for the first time. Since coming here, she had never encountered any existence that could fight her before.
"..."
Hui'er looked like a doll. She didn't respond even a single word. Her colorless eyes just stared silently at the Dragon Queen.
Hui'er's attitude instead stimulated the Dragon Queen's rage to return again.
"I'll make you speak yourself, human!"
She roared while her huge giant body shot up into midair.
Countless attacks poured down like meteor rain. Hui'er, like someone without consciousness in her body, suddenly floated up above the ground. Flames from her fist gradually spread throughout her entire body. They circulated around her slowly but steadily.
This was as if she was circulating qi!
When those flames flowed through one complete cycle, Hui'er's body twitched slightly. Suddenly tremendous pressure until even the air trembled burst out from her body. But it existed only for a blink before being absorbed back into her body until gone as if nothing happened.
If one wasn't aware, people would think to themselves it was only the Dragon Queen's pressure.
When attacks arrived at her body, Hui'er swung those small hands to deflect and defend attacks from the sky. If one observed carefully, they'd find that Tang Yeye lying unconscious at the bottom of the pit didn't receive injury from stray shots at all.
That meant Hui'er was protecting her!
In the Dragon Queen's life, few could compare with her. In this dimension, there wasn't even one person who could resist her attacks.
Hui'er inhaled. Her right foot stomped down on the air as if that area had ground to support it. Her tiny body shot in a straight line. Her right fist lashed like a whip crashing in until the Dragon Queen had to stop her attacks.
Her huge body was struck by impact until scattering backward. When she glanced at the point that was attacked where appeared a small black wound mark as if burned by fire, her fury surged up.
The Dragon Queen felt she was being insulted. She roared aloud. Throughout her entire body appeared energy currents flowing throughout. Her scales emitted brilliant red light like the sun.
"Take this! Human!"
The Dragon Queen's mouth opened wide. One of her most violent attacks was about to be released.
But suddenly—
Hui'er's sleepwalking-like demeanor was like a puppet whose strings snapped.
The flames blazing throughout that small body extinguished. Hui'er who had been floating in midair until just now dropped down to lie beside Tang Yeye at the bottom of the pit.
Bai Fanxian's last Intent protecting her body slowly dissipated.
The Dragon Queen didn't understand what was happening?
Had she won? But her attack hadn't even been released yet.
"..."
While she was confused, the animal instinct within screamed out madly. As if she herself was a small rabbit being stared at by a predatory lion from a dark corner!
This fear with no origin confused her. In this dimension's world, who else could still make her feel like this?
It was more than the feeling she sensed from that strange human child.
"...Dragon Queen?"
A voice full of authority and coldness rose from the sky.
Causing the owner of that name to quickly turn back to look. The instant those enormous eyes met that gaze so smooth it was terrifying, no matter how huge the Dragon Queen's body was, she still trembled!
"...Quite a grand name, isn't it?"
At that instant, pressure that could truly make the air tremble poured down from the sky! Bai Fanxian's eyes were so dark they seemed able to absorb light.
She was angry now.
