Chapter 12 - The Overpowered Captain

[A/N: Alright, I will stop writing extra chapters for the time being until I get an answer. I wanted to gender bend Luffy. In the world's reason? Luffy is the fate one, and since Hancock wouldn't fall in love with Luffy thanks to MC, Luffy had to be reborn as a girl to be able to make it out of her island and get her help.

As for my reason, I want someone who embodies freedom. Luffy is that person... There is also Shanks, and honestly, I think he fits the role perfectly if my theory on him is true. That theory being that Shanks was supposed to be the next Pirate King/Joy Boy, but he rejected that since, to him, he picked his own fate. He is the freest man in One Piece, with the only thing holding him seemingly being Black Beard. Their fate seems to be linked, as seen with their flashback. They were born on the same island and were saved in similar ways, while they were carried off in opposite directions.

Black Beard embodies what a true pirate is: a ruthless man who does anything to get what he wants, which in turn means he is surrounded by people ready to backstab him.

Shanks embodies a more peaceful, free pirate, free from hate and such things. You could beat the guy up, and he would just laugh, unless you harm a friend of his. He is free from most things... But if you guys have someone better for the role of freedom, please say.

And yes, I want the crew to be as overpowered as they can. The person with the role of freedom would be free from all things, be it free of defeat, free of injuries, free to be whatever they want, free of limitation, free of weaknesses, and so on.

Before going to the Immortal realm, I will have original words and people who have had their wishes granted. MC and his harem would be overpowered... but so would they, plus they would have had an eternity to take all of the omniverse had to offer, so early off, MC is overpowered, but once he meets them, it wouldn't be so easy. This is where his harem would be useful, as with their help, what can he not do?]

"What ability is this… It doesn't matter," Kaido said while turning his attention away from the stage world he found himself in, and focused on his Haki, his expression turning serious.

The air around him grew heavy as his Haki flared to life, and cracks began to form across the strange world they stood in. The color, the shapes, even the space itself trembled under the weight of Kaido's power.

From outside, anyone looking at the giant skull of Onigashima would see two moving figures etched into it, their bodies shifting like living drawings carved across the bone.

In the next instant, Kaido and Billy returned to reality. The world snapped back into its natural state. Billy still held the sword he had created, its form not returning back to its original form since it wasn't touched by Kaido Haki. He snapped his finger again, this time boosting his own physical speed and reaction time, his body adjusting instantly to match Kaido's tempo.

Even without his weapon, Kaido grinned, the thrill of battle lighting up his face. He shifted forms with ease, his body expanding as scales rippled across his skin, turning into his half-human, half-dragon form.

The ground trembled beneath him as his presence grew heavier. With one firm step, Kaido burst forward, his fist coated in both Armament and Conqueror's Haki as it came crashing toward Billy with overwhelming force.

Billy's sword moved swiftly, cutting through the air to meet the strike. When the two attacks collided, the shockwave tore across the skull's surface, shaking the entire island.

To Kaido's shock, he felt Billy's blade slice into his Haki itself, cutting through it layer by layer until he was forced to retreat several steps back. The power behind that sword was unnatural, its edge refusing the effect of Haki, and instead cut through it… for that was a reality-cutting blade.

So what if Haki could nullify ability… could it nullify a sword with the power to cut through reality itself, much less Haki? Before this sword, all things in reality shall be cut, be it time, space, logic, or even Haki.

"This is cheating, so I will not use it," Billy said, snapping his finger. The sword in his hand shimmered before shifting shape, its form twisting until it became a simple golden coin that rested lightly between his fingers.

At the same time, his clothes changed, his outfit turning into a sharp white suit that fit him perfectly. A pair of golden-tinted glasses appeared over his eyes.

Billy flipped the coin playfully, rolling it between his fingers before tossing it into the air and flicking it toward Kaido. Kaido, who had been preparing to charge, suddenly stopped. His instincts screamed at him, but when he tried to look into the future, he found only static—nothing but emptiness.

Stunned, Kaido watched as the coin spun through the air, flashing once before transforming back into his kanabō—but this time, it had grown enormous, easily the size that rivaled his whole body.

The sudden shift made Kaido's eyes widen, and before he could react, the immense weight of his own weapon came crashing toward him. He tried to resist, but even with all his strength, the sheer force pushed him backward, his feet digging deep into the ground as he struggled to hold his stance.

All he needed was a second. With a guttural roar, Kaido's Haki exploded outward, Armament and Conqueror's merging into one as he forced the kanabō back to its original size. His hand closed tightly around it, and without hesitation, he launched himself toward Billy. His grin returned, fierce and full of excitement, as he swung the weapon down with all his might upon Billy.

"I thought I would need Haki in this battle… but I see why, before getting Haki, I was considered Yonko tier," Billy said while fixing his glasses. His words came out calm, almost casual, but there was a clear hint of amusement behind them.

Kaido's weapon was already inches from his face, moving with incredible speed, yet Billy didn't panic. He simply snapped his finger, and the world around them shifted once more, bursting into color.

Kaido's strike missed completely as Billy appeared behind him, moving with effortless precision. Within that strange dimension, Billy's movements became sharper, faster—his power noticeably stronger. Kaido immediately noticed the difference; his Haki warned him that inside this realm, Billy's strength had increased. He gritted his teeth, realizing that this place wasn't just some illusion; it tilted reality itself in Billy's favor.

'He needs to snap his finger every time he uses his strange ability,' Kaido thought with a grin. He burst forward again, his kanabō swinging with terrifying speed, the sheer power behind it strong enough to tear the air apart.

Billy didn't flinch. As the weapon came crashing down, he let his body drop backward, narrowly avoiding the hit. The swing missed him by inches, close enough for the pressure alone to make his hair shift.

Before Kaido could pull his weapon back, Billy's fingers came together, and with a quick snap, the world changed again. The entire world shifted around them. The battlefield vanished, and before either could react, they were falling through open sky.

The wind howled as the scene opened to the endless sky. The two of them were falling fast, the clouds parting above and the ocean waiting below.

"You! Just what powers do you have?" Kaido roared, his voice filled with both annoyance and excitement as the wind rushed around them. Billy continued to fall, his body relaxed and his face having that relaxed smile, as if he was in control.

"Let's call it the God God fruit," Billy said with a relaxed smile, his voice light even as they fell through open sky. Kaido's laughter only grew louder at those words, the sound booming across the air between them. The idea of such a fruit amused him, and he couldn't help but grin wider, his sharp teeth glinting as he looked down toward Billy.

"Haki trumps all!" Kaido roared, his mind flashing back to that day years ago when he had learned just how powerful Haki could be. He didn't hesitate; his body shifted mid-fall, taking on his enormous azure dragon form. The air twisted around him from the sheer size and force of his transformation as he dove straight toward Billy, his massive jaws opening to strike.

"Does it trump all when I can erase Haki?" Billy asked with a small smile, his voice calm despite Kaido's massive form closing in fast. He snapped his finger once more, and instantly, Kaido's body shimmered before returning to its normal shape. The dragon vanished, leaving Kaido in his base form, hovering in confusion for a split second as if the air itself had rejected his transformation.

"It's not like your nullification abilities gained from Haki remain active at all times," Billy said, letting out a quiet sigh as he spoke. Kaido didn't waste a second. His body shifted again, the dragon form reappearing almost instantly, his scales glinting as he steadied himself. Before Billy could hit the ocean, he flipped midair and landed lightly on the water's surface, standing atop it as if it were solid ground.

Kaido went on guard, ready for whatever came next. Before Billy could move again, he gathered his strength, his Haki flaring around him as he prepared to counter. Billy raised his hand and snapped his finger, and in an instant, the two of them disappeared from above the water and returned to the skull where their fight had begun.

Kaido attacked the moment they reappeared, swinging his kanabō straight toward Billy. Before it could connect, Billy snapped his finger again, and Kaido's body instantly shrank. The towering figure that had filled the battlefield turned into a tiny fly, the massive weapon falling harmlessly beside him as his buzzing filled the air.

Sitting back on a rock, Billy looked at Kaido, who was breaking free from each transformation, just for Billy to snap his finger again, turning him back into another insect. Every second that passed, Kaido grew faster at undoing the effects of Billy's snaps. His body shifted from insect to man, his size returning quicker each time.

Billy watched quietly, the corner of his mouth lifting slightly as he saw the progress. He didn't interfere, choosing instead to let Kaido adapt. The constant back-and-forth continued, the snapping and transforming turning into a rhythm that filled the space between them. Billy smirked faintly, resting his chin on his hand, showing no sign of rushing to end it.

Soon, Kaido laughed as he was now immune to Billy's snaps. No matter how many times Billy tried, the effects no longer worked on him. The transformations stopped completely, and his body remained stable even when reality itself bent around him.

Billy stopped snapping, his expression relaxed as ever. Kaido grinned, the massive dragon towering above him once more, his Conqueror's Haki surging to its peak.

The energy around him shook violently, cracking the ground and splitting the air. His Haki pushed outward, nullifying everything Billy had done, stripping away the effects of everything he did to himself, be it the ability he gave himself and other such things; they disappeared. Although his body kept the benefits from his auto workout,

Billy sat there, watching the display without surprise. "Not bad," he said simply, and with another snap of his finger, Kaido froze midair, his movements halting as time itself stopped working for him.
