Chapter 91 - Like Sisters, Like Mother and Daughter

"You really didn't feel it?"

Akasha Bloodriver looked at Arthur with that soft, gentle smile.

Arthur was just about to ask "feel what?" when a ripple from his Supreme King's Authority suddenly moved. He paused, startled, and his gaze dropped very naturally to Akasha's lower abdomen.

A rosy blush climbed up Akasha's cheeks, and a hint of shyness flashed in her eyes.

"So that's it…"

Arthur understood at once.

His king's familiar list had just added one more.

And this new familiar bond was very clearly derived from Akashiya Moka's contract.

Back then, the one who actually signed the familiar contract was Moka — but the "pink-haired Moka" they'd seen most of the time was actually Akasha's surface personality, so Akasha had always been half-linked to that power. Now that Akasha's true consciousness had returned to her real body, the king's contract naturally followed her back.

Just now, Akasha had stopped resisting and let the contract that wanted to fuse with her soul finish the last step.

Akasha Bloodriver had become Arthur's familiar.

"You…" Arthur's eyes widened a little. He really did feel moved.

Their eyes met.

"Xiao Arthur…" Akasha, cheeks rosy, called him in a soft, affectionate voice.

"Akasha…"

Seeing her like that, Arthur stopped suppressing the impulse in his chest. He reached out, pulled her straight into his arms, and lowered his head to kiss her.

Her lips were soft and warm.

Akasha closed her eyes; that milk-white face was dyed a beautiful red. She was a little inexperienced, but she still answered Arthur's kiss very seriously, very warmly.

At the same time, in the second-floor sitting room.

The silver-haired Akashiya Moka suddenly shivered, her long lashes trembling slightly.

Tohru, Zhu Ran Ya'ai, and Zhu Ran Xin'ai all looked over at once.

"What's wrong?"

"I'm fine."

Moka pressed down the familiar, sweet, almost-like-kissing-Arthur feeling that had just been shared over, smiled a little, and shook her head.

The three of them clearly didn't 100% believe her, but since she didn't want to explain, they didn't chase it.

Moka herself was a bit puzzled.

Why was her body syncing that feeling again?

This was exactly like before — when Akasha was outside drinking Arthur's blood, that satisfaction would travel along the seal and the contract and land on her side too.

…Wait. Mother?!

Thinking of that, Moka's heart suddenly got complicated.

Just now upstairs, when they were changing clothes, Akasha had already told her the real situation.

Their relationship was honestly tangled:

same origin → one part split off → that split part actually grew into a new soul.

So you could say they were same-source sisters.

You could also say they were mother and daughter.

But Moka herself just couldn't help treating Akasha as her mother.

Sisters or mother and daughter — now that the two of them were tied to the same man, of course it felt a little weird.

Time slid by.

About ten minutes later, Arthur finally let go of Akasha's now slightly swollen lips and exhaled.

Akasha was leaning against his chest.

Her eyes were misty, her beautiful face was flushed through, and her lips were parted as she breathed lightly. At some point she'd ended up sitting on Arthur's lap.

"How was it?"

Arthur's mouth curved. Akasha's identity made this especially exciting.

"You bad man."

Akasha shot him a sidelong look, eyes full of charm.

She lowered her head to straighten her slightly messy clothes — Arthur's hand was still around her slim waist.

Arthur's left arm circled her soft, slender waist; his right hand didn't stop either. He bent toward her ear and murmured:

"How about tonight?"

The "Moka" she created wasn't a child she actually gave birth to, so this real body of hers had zero experience.

"…Mm."

Feeling the warm breath at her ear, Akasha's body softened, heat crawling up her neck. Face red, she still nodded.

Her heart was full of anticipation and shyness — and also a little bit of nervousness.

After she reclaimed the pink-haired Moka's memories, of course she knew what "she" and Arthur had done. Arthur's ferocity, that strong, unstoppable drive — just thinking about it made her heart race.

But this real body… had never done it.

Right now she was all theory and no practice.

"Arthur… I want some."

Akasha suddenly whispered, eyes hazy.

"Okay."

As if they really were of one mind, Arthur tilted his head and exposed his neck.

Akasha opened her lips and bit down lightly.

Her true body tasted Arthur's blood.

A hard-to-describe satisfaction spread through her whole body.

A dozen seconds later, Akasha, fully content, stopped, sat up straight, used her little pink tongue to circle her lips and lick away the red, then swallowed.

Watching that…

Heat flashed through Arthur's eyes and he lowered his head again to kiss her.

Upstairs, the silver-haired Moka shivered again, a faint blush blooming on her pale face.

Tohru asked, "Really okay?"

Zhu Ran Ya'ai and Zhu Ran Xin'ai also looked at her.

"I'm really okay."

Moka once more forced down that shared, blood-drinking satisfaction, smiled, and shook her head.

The three of them didn't press.

Moka, though, was thinking: So mother also… and with her real body… then our relationship is even more tangled now…

After another ten minutes or so—

"You can come down."

Arthur's voice floated up from the first floor.

The four of them on the second floor stood up at once and headed downstairs.

When they came into the living room…

They saw Arthur holding Akasha's hand.

Except for Moka, who basically already knew, Tohru, Zhu Ran Ya'ai, and Zhu Ran Xin'ai all stared, eyes widening.

This meant…

The next second, Arthur confirmed their guess.

"From today on, Akasha is also part of the family."

"!!!"

Zhu Ran Xin'ai was completely stunned.

She really hadn't expected Arthur to even take in Moka's mother.

That was… a bit much…

Zhu Ran Ya'ai's eyes flickered. She was surprised for a moment — then accepted it.

Tohru was the same. She was a little surprised that he'd "packed the mother and daughter together," but since they didn't object, she had no reason to.

She only cared about one thing: what Arthur thought of her.

Akasha glanced at Moka, then at Tohru, Zhu Ran Ya'ai, and Zhu Ran Xin'ai, and smiled.

"Let's reintroduce ourselves."

"Hello, everyone."

"I'm Akasha Bloodriver. I'm Moka's older sister… and also her mother. Please take care of me from now on."

"Older sister and mother?!"

The three all blinked.

Tohru was the first to smile. "Hello, Akasha."

Akasha felt very much like the pink-haired Moka they were used to — and since Arthur said Akasha was basically that pink Moka, she was naturally easy to like.

Akasha smiled back.

Zhu Ran Ya'ai also greeted her warmly: "Hello, Akasha."

"Uh… hello…"

Zhu Ran Xin'ai responded too, expression a little complicated.

She really did feel like… she wasn't fully part of this "family."

Arthur took out his phone to check the time.

"Any message from Yotsuya Miko?" he asked, looking at Moka.

Moka shook her head. "No."

"You girls talk. I'm going to make a call."

Arthur dialed Yotsuya Miko.

The girls exchanged a glance, then started chatting among themselves.

Akasha took the lead, naturally steering the topic.
