RUMBLE—!
The massive pirate ship was breaking apart.
Cracks spread through its entire frame, multiplying without end, while support beams snapped one after another under the strain.
Because of Kai and Weevil's earth-shaking duel, this giant pirate vessel—large enough to carry five hundred men—had finally reached the point of total collapse.
"The ship's going down!"
"Damn it!"
Clinging tightly to one of the sail pillars, Miss Bakkin looked around in panic.
Everywhere she looked, the ship's structure was covered in fractures.
Dense.
Endless.
Like a giant spiderweb stretched across the hull.
Kai and Weevil's battle had become far too intense.
Even the aftershocks of their attacks alone were enough to flip the entire ship apart.
They were both top-tier monsters of the sea.
The pressure waves from their clash had already battered the vessel beyond recognition.
Now the ship was on the verge of complete collapse, and Miss Bakkin's face turned ugly with fear and dread.
She didn't dare imagine what would happen to her if the ship really sank.
And as for her precious son Weevil…
what kind of fate awaited him?
"I never imagined that with Weevil's strength, he would actually run into a Marine monster like this in the first half of the Grand Line!"
"What rotten luck!"
"If I had known, I never would have ordered those pirates to steer toward that warship."
"I thought we'd found soft prey…"
"Who could've guessed that warship had a monster like this aboard?"
"A freakish little monster only five years old!"
The more Miss Bakkin thought about it, the more regret filled her heart.
In truth, ever since Kai had unleashed that overwhelming burst of Conqueror's Haki, she had already started regretting everything.
If she had known…
she never would have provoked these Marines.
But now it was too late.
RUMBLE—!
The pirate ship shook violently.
Then—
CRACK!
A sharp, splintering sound rang out.
The massive sail pillar that Miss Bakkin had been clinging to was struck by a violent shockwave and snapped in half, crashing downward.
"Not good!"
Her face changed dramatically.
Seeing the huge mast about to come down on top of her, she scrambled away at top speed, throwing herself toward the edge of the deck.
The instant she moved—
BOOM!
The pillar slammed down with a deafening crash.
The impact wave smashed the already ruined deck even further, causing entire sections to cave in as more and more cracks burst outward.
Miss Bakkin huddled near the railing, trembling as she looked ahead.
The two monsters in the middle of the battlefield were still locked in furious combat.
One of them was her idiot son, Weevil.
The other was the bare-chested five-year-old boy, his body covered in bulging veins, the Ghost Back across his spine looking especially savage and terrifying.
The pressure pouring off him felt endless.
"They've been fighting this long, and Weevil still can't gain the upper hand…"
"That brat…"
"What kind of monster is he?!"
Miss Bakkin was completely losing control.
On the battlefield, Weevil gripped his naginata wrapped in Armament Haki, his eyes sharp with murderous focus as he slashed down again.
SHHHK!
A brilliant slash tore through the air, so sharp it seemed to slice the atmosphere itself apart.
Kai remained expressionless.
He raised his hand—
and threw a punch.
It was a world-shaking blow.
That single punch smashed into the incoming slash head-on.
With a sonic boom, his fist burst forward at supersonic speed and shattered the attack in an instant.
BOOOOM—!
A violent blast wave erupted and swept across the entire area.
RUMBLE—!
The whole pirate ship rocked again.
"Die!"
Weevil came charging in, dragging his naginata behind him.
His heavy steps pounded across the shattered deck as if he never felt fatigue and cared nothing for his own injuries.
Every step was accompanied by more cracking wood and deep, dull impacts.
His six- to seven-meter-tall body stomped across the already fractured planks, each footfall inflicting fresh irreversible damage on the wrecked ship.
The moment he reached Kai—
he brought the naginata down again.
"Still the same old tricks…"
"What a disappointment."
Kai laughed softly.
His fists tightened, Armament Haki condensing around them.
Then he punched.
BOOM!
Power collided instantly.
Armament Haki crashed against Armament Haki, throwing off dark-red sparks.
A huge wave of force exploded outward.
Hum! Hum!
The air around the point of impact twisted violently, looking as though it might collapse at any moment.
Then the fight resumed in its purest form—
a brutal body-to-body clash.
Kai met Weevil head-on with no hesitation.
After a full year of electrotherapy training, Kai's physique had reached a terrifying level. Even compared to a monster like Weevil, he was not far behind.
Gradually, more wounds appeared on Kai's body.
And at the same time, Weevil accumulated injuries as well.
Kai took three slashes.
Weevil took three punches.
The three cuts on Kai were not light injuries. Blood flowed from them steadily, staining his pants red.
A faint smell of blood spread through the air.
On Weevil's side, things were no better.
Kai had already broken his nose, shattered several ribs on his left side, and cracked his breastbone as well.
In short—
after fighting this long, both Kai and Weevil had suffered significant injuries.
"You really are strong!"
"Fighting someone at your level is incredible!"
Kai burst out laughing.
As he felt the blood running down his body and the stinging pain of his wounds, he didn't grow angry.
Instead—
the violence buried deep inside him surged upward.
The more injured he became, the more that savage impulse rushed toward his brain, threatening to turn him into a slaughter-hungry tyrant.
Ever since Kai had first gone to sea—
there was no doubt.
Edward Weevil was the strongest enemy he had ever faced.
No one else even came close.
Never before had an opponent forced Kai into this kind of state—bleeding, wounded, his clothes dyed red with blood.
And because he had never been pushed this far before, Kai only felt his blood grow hotter and hotter.
His battle spirit rose higher and higher.
The longer he fought—
the stronger he became.
That was Kai's nature.
The more violent his emotions grew, the more terrifying the aura he released became.
Under the sunlight, his Ghost Back looked even more eye-catching—
as if he had walked straight out of a mountain of corpses and a sea of blood.
His killing aura pressed down in all directions.
Kai had taken plenty of damage in the course of this battle—
but Weevil had also been hurt badly.
No matter how monstrous Weevil's body was—
it still couldn't fully endure Kai's iron fists wrapped in Armament Haki.
"Again!"
Kai, thrilled by the boiling blood inside him, launched another furious offensive.
He showed no fear.
No hesitation.
And in a clash between top-tier monsters like Kai and Weevil, it was obvious that no winner would be decided anytime soon.
Then—
the ship finally gave way.
At this moment, the pirate ship truly entered the final stage of destruction.
Crack! Crack!
As the fractures multiplied, the wooden guardrails around the deck were blasted apart by the continuous shockwaves, breaking into splinters and tumbling into the surrounding sea.
At the same time, the ship's internal support structure finally reached its limit under the repeated impacts from the two monsters.
More cracks spread.
More beams gave way.
And then—
BOOM!
With a thunderous explosion, the ship's core support axis was completely destroyed.
It broke apart into countless fragments that scattered in every direction.
Without its central support, the rest of the ship's structure could no longer hold together.
Every section began loosening and splitting away, each part threatening to fall into the sea on its own.
RUMBLE—!
The pirate ship shook like it was dying.
Moments later, the giant sail finally toppled.
The skull flag that had once flown high above the deck crashed down as well, then slid off the tilting hull and drifted onto the sea.
After the sails went down, the forward structure of the ship also bent under the pressure.
CRACK!
A harsh sound tore through the air.
The giant ship split in half at the center—
like a stick snapped cleanly in two.
At last, the vessel broke into two pieces.
The front half and rear half tilted away from each other, sinking toward different stretches of ocean.
Splash! Splash!
As the ship halves sank, ripples and waves spread across the once-calm sea.
This enormous pirate ship…
had finally been smashed to pieces by Kai and Weevil's world-shaking battle.
