"Are you all ready?"
Kai stood bare-chested, every line of his young but defined muscles exposed beneath the sun. His face was expressionless as his calm eyes swept across the three hundred bandits gathered before him.
From his small body radiated a crushing aura, a pressure so immense that even these hardened criminals felt their chests tighten.
He might still be a child—
But the weight he exuded made every man present feel as if they were facing a predator, not prey.
"You little brat…"
The hulking bandit leader standing closest to Kai frowned, unease flickering in his gaze as he took in the boy's muscular frame. A strange sense of dread gnawed at him.
Around them, the other bandits murmured in confusion, exchanging uneasy glances.
"Damn… this kid doesn't look ordinary."
"Still, he's just a snot-nosed brat!"
"Don't tell me you're scared of him? Hah!"
Their brief shock quickly turned into cruel laughter.
"What was that, kid? You told us to get ready?" The burly leader sneered, shaking off his doubts.
Kai's lips curved upward.
"Of course. Ready—"
"—to die."
His voice cut through the air like a blade.
"You hear me? Not a single one of you is leaving here alive. I'll crush every last one of you into pieces!"
The calm smile on his face turned savage. The atmosphere around him roared like a storm, pressing down on the entire clearing.
The leader barked a laugh, baring his teeth.
"Big words for a brat! I'll tear you apart first!"
He lunged forward, his massive hand reaching to grab Kai's skull, intending to crush it like a melon.
But then—
Shhh!
Kai vanished.
Gone from sight, leaving only a faint afterimage where he'd stood.
The man's hand closed in the empty air.
"What—?!"
Before he could process what happened—
A voice whispered coldly in his ear.
"Looking for me?"
The calm tone carried the force of a roaring volcano, seething with violent intent, like a beast longing to tear the world apart.
The man froze. A chill stabbed down his spine. He barely had time to turn his head—
—before a fist filled his vision.
The wind from that punch whipped his hair and cut at his skin like blades.
Then—
BOOM!
His skull burst apart like an overripe watermelon. Blood sprayed high into the air, raining down in crimson sheets. His lifeless body crashed to the ground with a dull thud.
The clearing fell silent.
The bandits' mocking laughter froze on their faces, twisted into masks of shock and horror. The stench of blood choked the air.
"That… that was Big Mountain…"
"He was killed with a single punch?!"
"How the hell is that kid this strong?!"
Three hundred pairs of eyes stared in disbelief at the corpse on the ground, a chill crawling up their spines.
Kai slowly lowered his blood-soaked fist. His gaze swept the crowd like that of a predator savoring its prey.
"I told you," he said coldly.
"None of you are leaving."
"That was just the first."
The boy's smile stretched wider, yet in the eyes of the bandits, it was the smile of a demon. Their breath hitched, their bodies trembling despite themselves.
Behind Kai, Ace stood frozen, eyes wide in shock.
"So strong… with just one punch, he killed him…"
Every time he thought he'd seen the limits of Kai's strength, he was proven wrong.
Meanwhile, Kai raised his blood-drenched fist again.
"Next," he growled. "All of you—come at me together."
"Otherwise, this fight will be far too boring."
"Come! Let's have a battle to the death!"
"It's either you—"
"—or me!"
His eyes blazed with battle lust, his smile baring sharp fangs like a beast reveling in slaughter. Blood dripped steadily from his hand—not his own, but that of his enemy.
It was as if his very body craved combat, craved the taste of blood.
A creature born for battle.
At that moment, the sheer killing intent radiating from Kai shook the three hundred bandits to their core, leaving them paralyzed with fear, hesitant to make a single move.
