Morning arrived swiftly, faster than Lilian would have preferred.
She hadn't gotten much sleep--she had only fallen asleep on the couch she laid, when it was way past midnight due to thinking.
"What will I do this morning?" She wondered as she opened her eyes and saw the morning bright light filtering through the windows.

Lilian sharply began stretching so her friend wouldn't notice she had been awake and lost in thoughts.
