The battle raged on.
While examinator was trying to "test" Klein he broke four of his ribs and his left arm.
Even if Klein's blocks and dodges were practically flawless he often was too slow to react to his attacks
Usually the test would be already over. The examinator would just stop the fight and send him off to the healer. But the examinator observed something unusual in Klein
'This kid... It's like he isn't getting tired... It's like from the start of the fight
nothing changed... No I would say that he even got stronger from the start of the fight... Of course I'm holding back but It's still truly remarkable.'
All of this was thanks to Klein's True Soul. His opponent from the start of the fight had upper hand in practicaly every way.
He was stronger, faster and his technique was better
Klein knew that the only way to somehow impress this man was to at least try to match him technique
That's why from the start of the fight he didn't even tried to punch the examinator
the more damage he took the better his technique grew
To achieve this level of boost to his technique he ha to sacrifice his arm an a fer ribs
But it was worth it... His reaction time was about 0.17s and his senses helped him predict from which direction the next punch will land
Now he had to wait
Wait for an occasion to try and make a counterattack
He only had one chance...
He knew that if this won't work out his chances to get priviliges of a hig ranking awakened will fade away
'Just... just a little bit longer'
In the meantime examinator had a really hard time figuring out what is going on
'How is this even possible... In the beggining he couldn't even react to one of may attack but now he's blocking practicaly all of them. Yeah sure I'm ussing about five percent of my strenght but I'm fuc**ng Enlighted Goddammit... He's like a killing machine that don't care about damage it have received'
Then he decided to attack him from behind
Examinator turned into a blur and then disapperad
Appearing right behind Klein
It would be to late for Klein if he decided to turn around also from this angle counterattack would be impossible
But Klein was ready for that his senses warned him about the danger from behind and his reaction t speed made it possible for a counterattack
For normal people it would be impossible to attack from such an angle
But Klein had something that would let him do it...
His broken arm
He swinged it like a whip bending and dislocating his bone that way that he was able to hit the examinator with it
Examinator was slapped in the face by Klein's broken arm
'That kid actually was able to hit me. I really should've been more cautious what will my friend say when they'll hear about it. Also... That smile I heard rumors about him but that smile really gives me creeps.'
He massaged his cheek for a while and then said
"Congratulation your soul was evaluated to be of the Elite rank"
'Huh... Elite Rank? I thought that the highest I could be evaluated would be a Worrior rank Soul'
"Now better hurry and go to the healer. Those are some ugly injuries. The healer is in the next room he'll also help you update your identification orb"
Klein hesitated for a bit
Examinator threw him an irritated glance
"Hurry I have other brats waiting for their examination"
Klein entered next room
A beatiful woman was sitting lost in thoughts enjoying a cup of tea
She looked like she didn't get enough sleep

' They either don't have coffe or she's just tired after healing all of the participants'
Woman finnaly realised that Klein entered the room
"I was wondering when the first contestant would finish their examination"
'So they don't have coffe'
She looked at Klein's arm and said
"That's some serious injury you got here . Let me guess it was Greg who got you like that. That bald maniac. You don't have to worry come closer"
Klein sat right in front of her
She checked his arm once more and then said
"You'll drop unconsious for around three hours but after that your arm should be fully healed. as for your ribs it should take about four days for them to heal with my help"
Klein agreed and laid down on a bed
"One more thing before I put youto sleep"
"What rank did you get"
Klein answered
"Elite"
Woman smiled
"Congrats"
Klein felt sudden sensation in his chest
It started growing more and more intense when finnaly he passed out
After three hours of nice dreams Klein woke up
He looked around...
The young girl with crimson hair was laying in the bed next to him
It was Tessia one of the Ashbourne's daughters
The daughter of one of the most powerful awakened on this planet
But right now she had messy hair and was drooling in her sleep
'Huh... so even princesses look funny when they are sleeping'
After a while woman that healed Klein entered the room
"Oh, so you've already woken up"
Klein nodded
"Yes I did but what is she doing here"
Klein pointed at Tessia
"Ahh... She just overused her power power and fainted from the fatigue"
"She will be alright"
Healer threw a blue orb in the direction of Klein
"When you were unconcious I updated data on your identification orb"
Klein looked at the runes on the orb

Woman couldn't suppres her laugh any longer
