"You demon, lying through your teeth—doesn't your conscience hurt?" Luo Yu glared at her.
He patted his thighs and rolled his eyes. "My little mishap is partly your fault, so you need to take responsibility."
Su Yaoyun reached out and pinched the soft flesh at his waist, twisting it hard. "You heartless little man. If I hadn't helped you compress the energy back then, you would've already been blown apart by it. How could your strength have improved this fast?"
Luo Yu held her hand, a curve lifting at the corner of his mouth. "Then how do you think I should thank you?"
Su Yaoyun blinked her beautiful eyes, scanning him up and down, then waved her hand listlessly. "Forget it for now. Wait until you can move freely again, then we'll talk."
"Smack."
Luo Yu pulled his hand back. "Getting cocky, are you? I bet you'll pay for what you said today."
