"You're awake?"
A hesitant voice spoke, and Shui'er, her face flushed, stammered, "I... I've been quite awake the whole time!"
Luo Yu shook his head, filled a water bottle, and pushed the wheelchair towards Shui'er's lips.
"Drink some water first."
"I'm not thirsty, I don't want to drink water," Shui'er shook her head.
"Then what do you want?"
Shui'er reached out her hand towards Luo Yu, her beautiful eyes gazing at him intently, "Yu-gege, I... I want you..."
"I want you to keep me company."
Luo Yu noticed the girl's gaze, and a surge of emotion softened his heart. He placed his palms on either side of the wheelchair and moved himself onto the bed.
Shui'er's beautiful eyes were hazy, but a hint of shy joy appeared within them. She lifted her body, but felt weak and without strength, and fell back down, causing the very elastic bed to bounce.
"Yu-gege, I like you." It seemed the alcohol emboldened Shui'er, as she began to speak her mind and confess her feelings to Luo Yu.
Luo Yu was stunned.
Seeing Luo Yu's seemingly expressionless face, fear quickly filled Shui'er's heart, sobering her up a little from the alcohol.
She suddenly panicked, and began to overthink. Does Yu-gege not like me? Will he hate me for doing this? Will he ignore me because of what happened today?
Before Luo Yu could speak, Shui'er anxiously said, "Yu-gege, it's okay if you don't like me, it's enough that I like you."
Luo Yu's dark eyes instantly softened. His large hand slowly came down to stroke Shui'er's hair. "Silly girl, when did I ever say I didn't like you?"
Hearing the man's doting voice, Shui'er was stunned. She couldn't quite believe her ears, and a blush crept onto her delicate face. She seemed afraid that it was all just a dream.
"Yu-gege, what did you just say?"
Luo Yu chuckled, "Who wouldn't like a good girl like you?"
Luo Yu knew all along that Shui'er liked him; he wasn't stupid.

Luo Yu found it amusing to see Shui'er suddenly acting like a little tiger. It seemed to make her even more vibrant and beautiful, radiating a unique charm.
"Silly girl, don't overthink things. I'm right here with you, aren't I?"
Shui'er pinched her own cheek. "I feel like I'm dreaming. I've dreamed of this scene before, but before, I would have been content just to share Yu-gege with others."
Luo Yu felt she was a bit confused right now, so he patted Shui'er's back. "You'll know if it's real when you wake up."
"Yu-ge," Shui'er closed her eyes and leaned in, offering her thin lips.
Luo Yu didn't refuse. He smiled at her and lowered his head to kiss her.
It was light, soft, and had a unique scent. The embrace lingered for a long time, and Shui'er's first kiss was gone.

He opened his eyes and saw that the girl had closed hers. She had fallen asleep without him realizing it, sleeping soundly with a happy, satisfied smile on her face.
"What a mess."
Luo Yu glanced down at the flag he was holding and was speechless.
His eyes, which were slightly red and wolf-like, seemed to emit a green glow in the darkness. He stared at Shui'er's budding figure for a long, long time, and finally sighed softly.
Good things come to those who wait. Without another word, Luo Yu suppressed the throbbing in his heart and tucked Shui'er into bed.
Just as he was about to leave, Luo Yu paused. Would it be uncomfortable to sleep in clothes? The skirt and stockings were so tight; wouldn't they leave red marks after a night?
