Chapter-13: the losses of leveling up
Also she belongs to the timeline where Vegeta and other people died and sent her son to the past through time machine to restore the world. But she knows that her timeline would die out for this thing.
After all once a different choice is made it is an entirely different time line. Her time line still existed and the dead people in her time line cannot be revived. Even her son went into another time line where her son should have died.
This directly balanced the timelines and she perished in her timeline alone after creating something that almost destroyed the planet completely. This also killed her enemy that killed all her family and friends.
As Jessica rabbits, she did not leave her righteous side, but she did leave some of her capabilities and became bolder in this life compared to others. She became a famous fashion icon and beauty but being on the righteous side she did not gain anything.
Beauty cannot last longer and forever. So she slowly lost her beauty and did not have enough money to maintain it as she grew older. With the beauty gone she has nothing to do and died in an empty alley in the hands of a person that she righteously reported.
It was a tragic death and she did not gain anything in this life of than being someone that can directly seduce others and show her beauty to the maximum. So even with great success the life is quite short and died quite early.
After her death she came to this world to become Ratika. She really doesn't know why she is so stupid with being intelligent in the past 3 lives at least to some extent to marry such a deceiving husband.
Well being stupid might not be the right word here. She is not stupid but got suppressed by the strong protagonist aura of this mixed novel world. Still she made the right bet in investing in something like a painful second chance.
Even though she only knows part of the future she can deduce all the things from the knowledge off various novels she read. With her IQ online she will not be in bad situations. In a way with her past life memories and personalities she is more like a perfect villainess.
The most intelligent villain that is hard to kill or catch. She is not a cannon fodder but a predator this time. Not even the world can stop her with her plans and ideas. After encouraging herself remembering her past lives she started to move again. The rest time is over.
She went straight to the room she started and took out a metal rod that is hollow inside. She started to beat on the walls of the cave carefully listening to the sound. She heard from adventurers in the later stages that many adventurers found special things in the first floor.
It is just like how she and Robert got the hidden things. They also discovered it by accident. She started to beat the cave walls and check the walls carefully to see if there is anything hidden. After searching for a long while she found a hidden compartment.
It is as big as 1 cubic foot and it is inside the dungeon wall. She dug the things inside out and found a simple sack in it. Opening it she found a bunch of coins counting them she got 810 dungeon coins. Adding the coins she has that is 110 it is 920 dungeon coins.
Other than that she found a flashing orb and she knows what it is. It is called an experience orb that can be used to gain experience points to improve her level. She checked it and found that it is an orb that can give her 1000 experience points.
She did not hesitate and added it to her experience points. Unlike in those RPG games the level here increases based on the wish of the adventurer. The experience would accumulate for both skills and levels. She has to personally upgrade them.
The condition is that she should not be in combat state. She can upgrade them in any other situation. The reason for this convenience is that leveling up the main level or the skill level would give some unexpected benefits sometimes.
There are also some restrictions on level in some places. So it is best to have the same level as that of the floor level to make the best of the situation instead of rapidly leveling up. Secret information that Ratika knows is it affects the 100 times booster for skills and stats.
As the level improves the booster multiplier decreases. That is for level 10 there is only 90 times booster effect. For level 60 there is only 40 times the booster effect in all things. So Ratika did not rush to increase the level.
She continued to search the walls wanting to find something again. But she did not get anything instead she felt exhausted. She stopped form time to time to mark everything on the note book making it into a record and also mapping the area.
Some skills can be improved and gives extra benefits. Mapping skill can be obtained using a skill scroll or repeatedly making the map of the dungeon floors in a paper or other areas. It was known from an adventurer that brought a note pad and pen with him when he entered.
He has the habit of recording and thought that the dungeon is a labyrinth. So he managed to obtain this skill. This let Ratika apply the same idea here to get the benefits out of it. Since it did not occupy too much time she did it.
Mapping skill when improved actually improves sense stats and in the dungeon cultivation world they might get extra skill related to mapping that has higher chance of finding hidden things.
