Chapter-75: wind listener passive spell
They are quire messy in dealing with those monsters and killing them. Visva killed the remaining ones as quickly as possible and mapped the entire place carefully for without leaving anything.
He also took the chance to visit the secret treasure place to get the secret treasure. What he gained are skill experience orbs and main level experience orbs. Other than that most of the things that he obtained are rejuvenation potions.
There are no weapons but higher level gloves and shoes that can improve his strength and speed by a large margin. It double them that is his strength has (+4) and his agility has (+20 percent) improvement.
These are good things and when he returned he started to practice spells again. He got another good spell called the wind listener spell. This is a sensory type spell. Keeping it active would consume small amount of magic points.
But it is less than the cost that would recover. So there is not much loss. Visva can use it directly and keep it on all the time. This spell would let him listen to the whispers of others. Also it can let him listen to the movements around.
His perception would increase. This is an automatic spell and as it improves he will have wider range of hearing and perception with lower cost of magic points. He quickly connected this spell to stay active.
With that the spell experience points would increase continuously instead of actively increasing them. While doing that he went to collect other things. On the next few days he lived in the dungeon peacefully.
The exploration time increases every day and it is nearly 4 days of time for him to spend peacefully. There is no one to disturb him during this time. He really misses a woman to play at this time.
Unfortunately he cannot trust anyone. This is a very sad point. If he dies that women would get all the benefits. He doesn't want to be stupid and die for a woman. He continued to improve the skill experience and other experience points that are 100 times faster than outside.
He can only maintain this pace till the tenth floor after that he has to increase his level. If he did not increase his level he will not be able to fight the monsters of the eleventh level. From eleventh level monsters are not that confined.
They move out of their rooms and can chase for a short distance. As long as he is in their target and visible range they would change. If they did not see the target they would stop chasing. This is the big problem.
So he cannot attack them through sneak attacks easily. Even then they would chase for 5 seconds at least towards the direction of the attack. That time is enough for him to be caught. If he is strong enough he can deal with them.
If not that would be a problem. With improve strength he can still fight them perfectly and kill them with minimum damage. Even without improvement in strength he can still fight them and kill them but that would severely damage their bodies.
The valuable materials will be damaged and the damaged materials cannot be sold or used later. In order to avoid the financial losses it is easy to fight them with improve stat points and fight them to get the best benefits.
He continued to exercise and do things to improve his skill experience. At the same time he started to practice various things. Even after the dungeon reset he moved like wind to clear the entire dungeon really quickly.
Once he knows the monster he can easily solve it using its weakness. There are two types of people most of the time. One that rushes over to fight and the other that stands and thinks. Visva comes under the second category.
He did not rush to fight. He first plans how to kill the monster and then starts attacking in a specific way with many backups ready to save his life at any given moment. He would not risk his life for anything.
His life is the most important. This is not the way how fighters or warriors fight instead it is the way of the assassins. Yes others might think that assassins are at the risk of death most of the times when they kill their targets.
But the reality is only amateur assassins are like that. The real assassins have top priority for their life. They concentrate more on defense and evasion compared to continuous and charged attacks. The series like Naruto has failed in this point.
A ninja is supposed to kill in secret instead of fighting head on stupidly. If you fight head on then you are no longer a ninja or an assassin. They are mercenary and stupid fighter that would fight on the front grounds.
Well Visva did not care about how they thought of this matter. Visva simply completed his work and continued to practice. During this time he is careful enough to rest. Because of master of all trades skill even sleeping became a skill.
The quality of rest is so good that he could rest in a short time to recover completely. Also he can take rest in short pauses and continue to work. This is also a good way for him in the future, as he could not stay and rest for a long time with so many people around.
He cannot trust anyone and he can only rest like a light sleeper. Anyone can come to kill if he is not careful. So he cannot just give them a chance. So this kind of resting is different and much better to some extent.
When the time is about to end he stepped in the stairs to leave. He did not check his status panel as he did not change things much other than earning a few good things. He has many things to sell and he is planning to meet the mysterious merchant in the coming days.
