Chapter-54: the boss room with level 6 goblin archer
The blood bar of the wild boar suffered a critical hit and only a small part of it left. Visva pulled out a simple dagger from his waist and plunged it onto the other eyes of the wild boar that is struggling at its last breath.
This way the wild boar is finally dead. Visva slumped down with exhaustion. At least that is what he showed them at this moment. Visva panted heavily with his breathing ragged. But he smiled happily.
Others that saw the scene were stunned because they thought that Visva would die this time. But the wild boar died this time instead of Visva. Robert has some doubts but there is no proof. Visva that completed killing the wild boar did not rest for long.
He slowly came to the treasure chest wanting to check it. This is still a wooden treasure chest but the benefits inside should be stronger. Visva took his time to pull out his spear out of the body of the big wild boar. The spear is slightly bent because of the heavy work load.
Visva also took back the dagger and then started to pick the lock of the wooden treasure chest. No one in the group or the people outside the group that is Robert and Aisha walked to the fork road on the other side.
Visva did not forget to take the sack that dropped after killing wild boar. He felt sad that he could not take the wild boar into the space to keep it fresh. But he has to wait to do that. He picked the lock and finally the lock was picked slowly.
He noticed that picking the lock slowly gave him more experience points and got deeper understanding of picking a lock. He carefully stood on the side to open the treasure chest. As soon as it opened a fire spell came out and Visva dodged to the side.
The fire fell on the corpse of the wild boar and it was instantly burnt down. If the fire spell of Visva reached level 8 or so then it might have the same power of the fire spell trap in the treasure chest.
Visva was stunned but he moved quickly to the wooden treasure chest. This treasure chest that has bigger trap might have better so without looking at the things he quickly switched them with the things from the space.
Once again it was switched with a bottle of water, a loaf of bread and a magic energy recovery potion that is a minor one. Visva took the things out of the treasure chest one by one and the attention of everyone turned towards him.
Visva also took out the dungeon coins in the treasure chest as he cannot switch them using space. So they are the only original ones that are still kept. He put them in his pouch without a care and the food was left for others if they wanted.
If not Visva put them in a makeshift net bag he carried with him to use. Even Robert came over to check. But most of their attention is towards the wild boar that is burning. Soon it turned into complete ash.
It only took few minutes for the entire process. Visva did not show much concern. Even though an ingredient for his practice of cooking is wasted he doesn't mind it at all. This has frightened others and they will not dare to touch the treasure chests in the future.
Even now they came forward but did not get close to check what is inside the treasure chest. Visva got few good things and he hid them. They are useful for him later. While at that he moved toward the fork end and sat down on a big rock to rest.
After all he did all the fight and others did not do anything. Visva looked at the group and said. "Can you go over and see which side is a dead end and which side is the pathway. I don't think that you will face traps right away if you just take a look from a distance."
With his words others looked at each other without any intention of leaving or exploring. Visva just looked at their appearance and did not say anything more. Actually he can directly move. He don't need to rest.
But he has to feign exhaustion covering up part of the strength he possesses. Visva rested just few minutes before walking towards the dead end this time. He walked over and others did not follow him.
Visva saw the dead end and walked back. This dead end is dangerous. It would shoot arrows from some groves on the stone walls. So he could not go there to check. There is no treasure there. It is a simple trap.
Visva came back and moved towards the other end of the fork. This time others followed him. If Visva did not come out after few minutes they would still follow in to check that direction if Visva went to a room instead of a dead end.
Visva walked over slowly to the entrance of the room and found that this is a big room with lot of space. He saw the stairs and also an erected platform on the side. On the platform there is an iron treasure chest.
Beside the treasure chest there is a level 6 goblin archer, below the erected platform there are 6 goblins in them 2 are at level 5 and 4 are at level 4. The level 5 goblins have extra leather armor on their bodies.
The level 4 goblins have sharp curved swords and clubs in their hands. Visva saw them and stopped at this place. This is the boss room and Visva has to fight them. But he cannot fight them all alone.
