Chapter-15: silver treasure chest hidden in a secret place
He then walked back to the initial room where he entered and waited there for while the time in the stop watch ticked. The normal watch is still useful as he came at 00:00 at midnight and leaves at 00:00:01.
So after 100 days the time difference in the watch would only be 100 seconds. As long as he adjusts it there is no problem at all. Soon as the time in his watch 12:00, the dungeon that looked like a beast releasing a tremble. The place trembled and a flash of red light passed by.
It is like a search light and after the confirmation another white light passed by and the dungeon was reset. The room he first came in now has a slime monster that is level 1. Well it is an empty room and now has a level 1 monster.
Fortunately he stood in the corridor that is not affected after the big change. All the monsters would improve their level by 1 level while the empty rooms would get a monster of the same level as the floor that is the base level.
Visva went over to kill the slime with a net and moved to the next room to kill another slime monster of level 2 with the net in quick motion. He stored their cores separately as levels also determine their value.
Then he went to the next room to find a skeleton monster of level 2. He kicked it breaking its bones and solved it directly. There is no treasure chest in any of these rooms. He moved to the boss room with stairs and the goblin of level 3 is present.
He still used the same trick as before and plunged it heart with the iron spear. But the monster has struggled more and Visva has to use his body weight to hold it in its place before it finally died.
The treasure chest in the room has been upgraded to iron treasure chest and he did not open it instead he went to kill the monsters in other rooms. The hole of secret room he made is closed completely and there is no trace of it.
He would check to see if there is any secret room here again later. He killed another 2 skeletons and 1 slime monster. The empty room of origin of Robert refreshed a skeleton instead of a slime monster.
Visva was slightly disappointed by this as the slime monster core is useful compared to the useless skeleton. Visva collected the sacks dropped by these monsters and returned back to the stairs room to check the goblin that is wearing bronze chain around its neck.
He took it and checked carefully. The goblins are smelly creatures so when checking he even put on special gloves that are disposable. After that he discarded the goblin monster and went to the iron treasure chest.
He picked it lock quickly with his experience and "CLICK…" the lock opened. He used the iron spear to slowly open the locked box from a distance. As soon as the top of the box is opened there is sudden sound
"Sui… Sui…"
"Tluck… Tluck…"
Visva saw two iron arrows shot at two different directions and went to pierce the stone walls perfectly. They pierced so perfectly that if Visva was shot then it would be shot at vital areas directly.
He can tell so because they shot in that direction where his heart and head are present. If hit they would have killed him before he can make a sound. It is quite dangerous. He did not get close to it instead he waited and knocked the iron box times the metal spear.
Then he went to check the contents. He got two minor healing potions and a jumbo pack of chicken biryani along with a 2.25L coke, 100 coins with it. Other than these things he got a set of bow and arrows. The bow is a long one and he doesn't know how it actually fit in the box.
In the quire there are 5 arrows with strong metal tips. There are no added buffs for these bow and arrows. He just kept them. The sacks from previous killing are taken out and started to count the spoils.
The food and water has improved with double quality and one of them even gave him 5 skewers of kebab that is steaming hot with strong spicy smell. He put it carefully in space with bright smile. He can cook well and he can eat even better.
With the things obtained he started the search mode while noting down all the things he found along the way along with mapping the area. Mapping one floor would not give him any bonus or skill. He has to persist and meet the requirements to get the skill.
With the monsters killed he went to each place and hit the walls carefully. It is also a kind of practice for him for his arms to become strong. He did so and his efforts are not for nothing. He actually found a hidden room right in the opposite wall of the boss room.
He broke the wall and entered. To his shock there is a slime monster inside that is only level 1. He killed it easily and collected it core. Then he checked the room carefully because there is no treasure box or anything in the room.
After a long search he did not find anything on the walls instead he felt that one place on the floor is not like a rocky area. He quickly lit up a torch and checked it to find a small patch of sand. He took out a shovel to dig.
"Cling…."
He hit something after digging for a while and he quickly moved the torch to check. It is actually a silver treasure chest. He cannot move the treasure chest out because they are fixed. So he carefully picked the lock of the silver treasure chest.
