Chapter 116: The Myriad Spirit Seal
It took another two hours for Orochimaru to successfully sketch the sealing formula on his scratch paper ten consecutive times.
He set aside the draft papers, now filled with various formulas, and picked up a delicate, precious calligraphy brush. He poured out some black ink and patiently began to grind it. In his previous life, when Orochimaru joined the Akatsuki organization and participated in his first Tailed Beast sealing ritual, his dream—to understand all of the Ninja World's jutsu and master all truths—made him instantly obsessed with the grand and esoteric sealing jutsu, the Phantom Dragon Nine Consuming Seals. Reflected against the nearby orange candlelight, it was surreal and strikingly beautiful.
Seeing this, Orochimaru knew the Forbidden Jutsu array had been activated, and all preparation was complete.
He undid the top of his wide, moon-white kimono, letting it fall to his waist, exposing his chest, which was lean, muscular, and well-defined.
Next, he cautiously picked up the talisman paper, held it in his right palm, and slammed it against his right chest and lungs.

The white talisman paper was pressed onto Orochimaru's right chest.
In that instant, the individual lines of the jutsu array on the white paper suddenly twisted and vibrated like startled insects. They shimmered with a pale-blue light, moving ceaselessly.
One by one, the formula runes and chains separated from the white talisman paper and adhered to the skin and muscle of Orochimaru's right chest, forming a Forbidden Jutsu array identical to the one on the paper. It then began to rapidly seep deeper into Orochimaru's body.
The moment the Forbidden Jutsu array attached to his chest, an intense pain, like the tearing of muscle tissue, shot into Orochimaru's pain receptors. His pupils instantly contracted, his thin lips were tightly pursed, and his dark-golden eyes betrayed enormous willpower and determination.
He shook his hand, letting the white talisman paper drop onto the table. Astonishingly, the jutsu array was gone from the paper. The esoteric formula was now completely imprinted on the skin and muscle of Orochimaru's right chest, where it glowed with a pale-blue light, seeping inward.
Fighting back the intense, knife-like pain, Orochimaru once again began to weave hand signs, focusing the remaining half of his chakra into both the hand signs and his right chest.
