The solider legs were starting to shake but he didn't bulge.

To be honest, he lied. Apart from the first life, where Sliver was a demon commander, he never harmed Sliver. However in each life , Sliver still managed to fall in love with him and cry whenever he got rejected.

He have heard that wolf demons have really sharp sense of smell and can even sniff out faint auras at distance, who would have known he would see it in action and in such a place too?
Bei Shang grabbed Sliver wrist " Where is the smell coming from ? Since when have you been smelling it?"
Sliver looked confused "I smelt it since I came in this direction, I thought it was the flowers around here but I am just noticing there are no flowers around here , you smell like peach blossom flowers though"
"That's not the point, which direction?"
Sliver sniffed twice before pointing at the north east "There , it coming from there "
"Good " He pulled Sliver "You follow me and serve as my bodyguard"
