Chapter 112 - Explosion

"Well, I haven't used it myself, but I've heard about it from outside."

Ginta was simply stating what he had heard: "I heard that the bomb's power might not be ideal because it's so small."

"But even so, it should be no problem blowing up a small third-story house."

"And I also heard that the team that created it was very dissatisfied with the power of the Dust Grain Bomb."

"They're also planning to develop a bomb with a detonation power comparable to a nuclear explosion, just maybe a little larger than the Dust Grain Bomb."

"Those crazy guys seem to have even decided on a name. It's called something like rose..."

Rose?

"It seems they either came from impoverished backgrounds, or they've been researching bombs until they've run out of money..."

Luke speculated.

Hearing another familiar bomb name, Luke temporarily memorized it.

Then he casually said: "So, what do you think..."

"If several Dust Grain Bombs were detonated simultaneously, what would the power be?"

"All at once?!"

Ginta's face was serious as he pondered this question: "That would almost rip the entire area apart."

"But that's unlikely, right?"

Ginta thought it was a bit unrealistic.

"Because the Dust Grain Bomb is extremely covert and dangerous. They have been explicitly banned from production and sale by V5 and its allied forces long ago; they've basically disappeared from the market."

"I did hear from other hunters that the black market in the Heavens Arena might have some for sale, but who knows if that's true."

"Oh?"

Luke asked with great interest: "In your hunter circles, how did you learn that the black market inside Heavens Arena sells them?"

Ginta glanced at Luke with some confusion. Although he didn't understand why he was interested, he answered honestly.

"Because a professional hunter happened to be at the Heavens Arena and saw someone on the black market specifically buying the type of small but powerful explosives you mentioned, Luke."

"And then some very discreet fellows really did take out the Dust Grain Bomb and completed the transaction."

"I don't even know whose hands those bombs ended up in."

A hint of worry flashed in Ginta's eyes.

"What if they fall into the hands of some criminal, someone who, for selfish gain, does something harmful to the world and society?"

"That would be terrible!"

"This is a huge hidden danger. I hope they are used for the right purpose!"

Bombs being used in the right place… well, it wasn't entirely impossible.

After all, in Luke's world, Alfred Nobel invented dynamite for tunneling.

In some places, bombs are indeed needed to clear roads.

But in this world, using them for the right purpose is almost impossible.

Including this time…

"Ehem..."

Luke coughed lightly. "These bombs may not be used for the right purpose, but that doesn't necessarily mean they will bring disaster either."

Ginta: "...?"

He looked at Luke, somewhat puzzled.

But he wasn't a fool.

Linking Luke's earlier question with his current 'I think so' attitude... No matter how foolish or clueless Ginta was, he had finally come to his senses.

His eyes widened slightly, and he looked at Luke in astonishment.

"Hmm..."

Luke nodded calmly at Ginta.

"You guessed right."

Luke smiled and said: "I was the one who bought those Dust Grain Bombs."

"It's just that..."

Luke paused. "Although I didn't use them properly, but..."

He whispered: "I didn't use them to destroy the world or society. At most..."

Boom!!

The next second, an earth-shattering explosion echoed through the entire forest.

At the same time, it silenced Luke's subsequent words and gave Ginta an answer.

At most, I'll use them to deal with some bad guys…

In an instant, endless flames spread.

The drum howler monkey bellowed with all its might as it fled madly.

The timid macaw didn't dare to utter a single curse word, fearing it would be affected.

It frantically beat its wings furiously, wishing it had been born with two more pairs.

Not only them, but the other wild beasts in the forest, even the magical beasts, also fled in terror.

Especially the more intelligent ones, who bolted without looking back.

Precisely because they possessed a certain level of intelligence, they were well aware that the power of such an explosion was enough to threaten their lives.

If they got caught up in it, even brushing against it, they might instantly be charred into coal… This danger to their very lives was enough to make them run without hesitation.

Even beasts knew that they couldn't withstand such a terrifying, explosive force. Naturally, fragile human bodies stood even less chance.

If it were a Nen user, maybe they could use their own aura to barely resist.

But only barely.

And if they were at the very center, inside an enclosed space, where multiple bombs detonated together, not even Chairman Netero himself would walk away unscathed.

Therefore, at the very moment the explosion erupted, the ball of earth instantly crumbled apart.

The soil fragments were swallowed by the fire and burned away.

The two figures inside were engulfed by flames in the blink of an eye.

And the scattering sparks shot outward in all directions!!

The fiery blast burst apart nearby trees and immediately set them ablaze!

"Oh no!"

Ginta's expression suddenly changed.

In the forest, one doesn't need to be overly afraid of natural disasters, but one thing you must be afraid of is fire!

A large fire in the forest would trigger a chain reaction.

It could easily spread, burning the entire Daragas Forest Wildlife Park to charcoal.

For Poacher Hunters who valued protecting nature, this was the very last thing they wanted to see!!

"No, we can't let these flames keep spreading!!"

Ginta couldn't sit still any longer, and he was about to rush out to stop it.

However, someone else was quicker than him.

"You guys!!!"

Ginta felt his vision blur as a figure flashed past him.

At the same time, the complaints, mixed in with the wind, barely reached his ears.

"Can't you just stop interrupting other people's thoughts?!"

"An explosion that loud can easily break someone's train of thought that takes ages to build!!"

Ging Freecss complained bitterly, but his hands and feet continued to move.
