The stadium was quiet that evening.
Most of the crowd had left after the morning game, leaving only the sound of the wind moving through the empty seats.
Grace sat on one of the lower rows, clutching her bag close to her chest. Her eyes darted between the field and the man standing a few steps away.
The stranger wore a black hoodie, the same one she had seen him in the last three times he appeared.
His face was still half-hidden under the shadow of the hood, but his voice was calm when he finally spoke.
"My name is Frank Dawson," he said. "I used to work for Mrs. Raymond.
She hired me twenty-nine years ago to look into the Cole family's business."
Grace's heart skipped a beat.
She shifted on the cold seat, her voice low. "Mrs. Raymond? The nurse who on duty twenty nine years ago?"
