Arnos and Kirios walks through the road to Lahmos village to defeat the 2 S-rank beasts. They arrive at the village gate. Kirios knocks at the door and says the guard to open it. after seeing them as humans he opens the door.(Kirios hid his ears and Arnos was in his human disguise). They headed towards the villages market to have some food. They entered the only restaurant in Lahmos village. A small girl greeted them and asked them follow her. Kirios said yes little miss and they both sat at a table in the centre of restaurant.
The little girl asked for their order.
Arnos: Give me enough that comes under 200 bronze coins.
Kirios: Hey little miss give me the best dish in this restaurant and if you do so i'll give 2 gold coins for it.
Arnos: Hey don't you think that's too much....
Kirios: And yeah if possible bring the same for this guy.
Little Girl: Yeah sure. Are you sure?(Girl was so happy with excitement on the generosity of Kirios).
Kirios smiles and agrees
Little girl heads over to the kitchen where her mother was working an give her the order. The mother pats her head and said that she'll try very hard and make the best dish possible and she tells her daughter to tell the mister it would take 15 min to prepare it so please wait.
Little girl came to the table where Kirios and Arnos were sitting and told it would take 15 min. Arnos asked the little girl where would the dungeon ruins would be found?
She answered it would be near the grey mansion. But she warned not to go inside because many beasts are now lurking inside and many of our villagers which first went to mine high grade mana-stones (stones which can be used make high refined steel) and ores are now scared to go inside. The mana waves inside is too strong.
Little Girl: By the way may I ask you a question misters?
Both Arnos and Kirios: Sure!(as they both drink there glass of water)
Little Girl: Are you adventurers?
Kirios: Yeah!
Little girl: Oh I see. Well you 2 must be strong enough to tackle the beasts on your own alone.
Kirios: Well we sure are.
Kirios smiles with proud at the girl
Little girl: You're so cool mister.
Arnos on the other hand was thinking about he saw till now in the village. He was able to see the people who've entered the demon contract and the almost everyone of them had entered the contract. He knew that he was able to free them all with [Libertas order] but the punishment for breaching the contract was something he had to keep in mind.
Arnos in his mind: I must further analyse the situation before I make the move.
Kirios was talking to the girl while Arnos involved in his thoughts. Arnos also saw the contact upon the little girl.
The Mother: Here you go the two best dishes of our restaurant(Great Saga of Spice N Heaven). I hope you 2 like this.
The Mother gazes at them with hope as they start to eat. Arnos and Kirios on eating the first bite feels the smooth textures of the noodles and spices burst in their mouth like fireworks making them feel like they reach heaven's door.
Arnos: Is it heaven or what? (Arnos started daydreaming because of deliciousness of food)
Kirios: So this is heaven?
Kirios finished the whole bowl in a instant and knocked out of the perfectness.
Arnos wakes up from his dream when the little child shoves him and then he see Kirios fall down. He stands up in shock and tries save him by pressing at his chest. The mother brought water and poured it over his face. Kirios woke up.
Kirios: Moommmmmm!!
Arnos: Hey did you do some magic over us?
Arnos thinks that it might've been poisoned but I didn't feel
Kirios interrupts
Kirios: NO! It was dish made to feel the heaven while you are alive. This might be the greatest dish I've ever ate in so many years. This dish kind of reminded me of my young age.
Kirios thanks the Lady for this and gives her 6 Gold coins
Mother: But you said it would be 4 gold coins , you gave me extra.
Kirios: The dish turned to better than I thought. I was even able to see my mom again. If it weren't for dish I would've never able to meet my mom unless I died. Thanks a lot!
Mother: It was my pleasure. It happened to be so delicious because my special skill [Heavenly Cooking Lv.13] and Mother's Love.
Little girl: Did ya see? My mom is amazing.
Kirios: Well she sure is.(He laughs at that point)
Arnos thought of the clue about who the lady might be.
Arnos: Miss would you mind telling us your name?
Mother: My name is Mitsumi, Yamazaki Mitsumi.
Arnos and Kirios mind opened up after he heard the name Yamazaki.
Kirios: Yamazaki?? So your grandma's or mom's name was Yamazaki Shizumi?
Mitsumi: How do you both know my grandma.
Arnos didn't tell but they used to always eat at Shizumi's Restaurant at the district of Colmos during their training time with their master. Shizumi was actually of the age of 20 by that time but after their time skip they saw her granddaughter running the restaurant line but they were curious why she was running restaurant in Lahmos village.
Arnos: Hey wasn't your restaurant in Colmos so what is it doing here.
Mitsumi with a sad face grabs her child
Mitsumi: Well the things aren't going as well. The new government increased the tax too much and raised to 1 gold coin. We had no choice but to leave since my mother was also facing with a sudden sickness....
A sudden ring of the door and a very fat and large man who was a noble came inside. He was the collector of Lamos Village.
Collector: It's to inform you that its collection day and its time to pay the tax Mitsumi.
Mitsumi: I'll bring the coins so please wait.
Mitsumi brings 100 silver coins from the counter and hands over to the nobles.
Noble: Mitsumi you know you are all alone since your husband's death in the dungeon 2 years ago. So why don't you give me a chance?(The fat man grins)
Mitsumi: Get lost! I've given what you wanted so take your leave.
The noble grabs Mitsumi's hand forcibly.
Noble: Listen Mitsumi come with me. I'll give you enough resources and you would not need to earn and pay tax. Come with me.(Fat man gets crazy)
Before Arnos and Kirios could do something the little girl punched the balls of noble as hard as he could. Noble man gets knocked.
Little girl: Listen you shit if you touch my mom again I'll punch more hard than this.
In rage The fat man stands and take out a pocket knife and tries to attack Hima(the girl's name) and her mother grabs her to protect her but before he could stab her. His both hand gets sliced down.
Noble man: Huh? What? .........AAAAAAAAAhhhhhhhhhhhahhhhhhhhhhhahhhhhhhhh!
Kirios cuts one hand and Arnos cuts another hand.
Kirios: Arnos let me handle this Ugly shit a**hole!!!(Kirios who was always a cool person comes in extreme rage and was unstoppable).
He flowed every amount mana in his other sword he had hidden inside the cloak. It was a cursed eastern-country sword [Hell Fire - ??? Class weapon- the swordsman who handle this sword make the enemy suffer through extreme pain before putting it to death but the swordsman suffers with bad luck for the 3 whole days]-[this side effect gets nullified when Kirios uses his skill[Extreme Luck]].
Kirios: I'll make you suffer through hell and make it most painful death for you. Kirios slices his legs and the legs began to burn out of flames. The noble screams in pain. He was screaming so much that Mitsumi San covered Hima's ear tightly. Kirios then pierced his chest 10 times and flames began engulf on his whole body. He then cuts his neck and his head flew in the air and in second he used the Hell Entry(a sword art) and pierced his head and then his head burned in ashes along with his whole body.
Kirios then swings the sword down and removes the ash on the blade. He then sheaths the blade back. Kirios' Ear were visible to the girl and then she remembered about the elf that her grandma once mentioned.
Mitsumi-San: Are you Kirios the Elf my grandma used to tell me about? Then you must be Arnos the beast saviour of Paradise.
Arnos and Kirios agrees at the point.
Mitsumi-San: But Arnos San you look like a human.
Arnos tells that it is his human disguise caused by his spell.
Mitsumi: You know you have killed a noble collector and if the royal capital gets to know about this. The capital will give serious order to eliminate us.
Arnos in his mind: More of that it could lead to penalty for breaching the contract if the royal capital gives the order and may put every person in village under danger.
Kirios: Don't worry miss before that we'll handle it. And in case of this emergency you could send us distress signal with this hair.
Kirios plucks his hair out and does the same ritual he did with his hair when he gave his hair to the Dryads and gives it Mitsumi.
Arnos: We'll at least bury his body and clean the residue so that no one gets their doubts on you. If matters get worse you have us. We have to protect young generations like you if we want to rebuild the empire. Just live like you always do and I promise I'll break demon's rule for once and for all.
Mitsumi: I believe in you Arnos and Kirios. But be careful on your way.
Arnos and Kirios then says their farewell and heads to their next destination but before they could do that she then remembered what her grandmother kept for them.
Mitsumi: There something my grandma kept for you two.
She then goes to a large painting then removes it. There was a secret vault or space where there was a dirty cloth covering something small.
She brought the large thing over the table. She removed the cloth covering the large thing.
It was covering 5 bracelets.
Arnos: Frey use appraisal.
Frey: Report the bracelet is to restrict the overflowing of mana and stores in a dimensional space and if need you can use the stockpile of mana in battles. Other features are hidden.
Arnos: Awesome it restricts the mana flow and stores it.
Kirios: Thanks Mitsumi San.
Arnos: We should take our leave and head to the dungeon. Thanks for everything.
Mitsumi: Thanks for saving our life and take care both you.
Hima: Take care Big bros!
Kirios and Arnos smiles and takes there leave. Arnos felt nostalgic as small Hima said big bros. They head to the dungeon location and finally reach the entry point.
They look at the entrance.
Kirios: Let's see the one who kills the least will be called the Moron.
Arnos: Ok Fine with me as long as I can see you cry as a loser.
Kirios: You're the one who'll cry.
They look at each other with sparking rivalry and then jump into the dungeon with immense power.
