Ravi starts off his expedition near the Northern Ice Caps of Earth, with his childhood friends Veena and Dhanush. The trio are unawakened fellows and make a good combination.
Ravi looks into the distance and becomes pale.
"What happened, Ravi?" Veena asked. Ravi ignored her and kept looking into the distance. A huge sound echoed from underneath their steps, their chests began to vibrate. Yes. Something huge was on its way. It was slowly approaching the three, not in a way that said, "Welcome" but in a "Get out and never come back" way. The distant footsteps grew louder every minute.
Ravi clearly saw the creature. It had red glowing eyes and it was large. You had to look up, straining your neck to spot the being's face. The three started running in different directions but the ice kept stopping them. Everyone panicked, heart racing! They gasped for dear life, they started screaming as loud as possible in hopes that others may hear it and come for the rescue.
Their voices echoed from various directions but not a man in sight. The being came face to face with the three, it took a good look and everyone felt an electric current penetrate through their body, paralyzing them completely.
What on earth? Whew! It was just a dream! Thank God! Ravi woke up in his bed. It almost felt like he was in his bed all day. He saw his friends walking infront of his house. Then the doorbell started ringing. Ravi came downstairs and opened the door. There stood Veena and Dhanush. "W-What happened guys?" Ravi asked, with a bored, sleepy and 'not-interested' voice. "Aren't we going to the North?" Veena asked, annoyed. As if it was obvious. Ravi understood everything. He probably went to the past, when they just started their journey. Ravi knew what would happen and he denied. He stopped his friends from going to North as well. He went back to bed, like a lazy man. The second his head hit the pillow, he realised he was not on the bed and he was standing upright.
He looked back, at the bed. The sight made his stomach churn and at the same time, he felt happy. He saw his own body laying on the bed, eyes closed. He was accidentally Astral Projecting.
He had awakened.
