Chapter 36 - "Three Hell-Level New Missions"

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________

[Ding!] All previous stage missions have been completed! A new series of missions is now available!

Mission 1: Witness, at close range, the historic meeting between the Yonko "Whitebeard" Edward Newgate and the Yonko "Red-Haired" Shanks.

Reward: Massive boost to stamina capacity; unlock Susanoo – Intermediate Form (can be upgraded to Complete Susanoo and grants access to an exclusive divine weapon).

Mission 2: Engage in direct combat with a Marine Admiral or stronger opponent and last more than one minute. (Note: Running away or passive defense does not count—must include active offense and defense.)

Reward: Massive increase in Conqueror's Haki; permanent 50% reduction in stamina consumption for later Gates of Eight Inner Gates techniques.

Mission 3: Defeat four enemies of Warlord level or higher (previously defeated targets do not count).

Reward: Randomly gain a new Multiverse Ability.

A flurry of system chimes echoed inside Dan's head.

He blinked his big black eyes, and for once, that tiny, cherub-like face showed… sheer speechlessness.

Good grief.

This system really thought highly of him, huh?

The rewards were mouthwateringly good.

Intermediate Susanoo meant a massive leap in both offense and defense.A 50% stamina reduction for the Eight Gates? That was practically divine! Once he could open the Seventh or even Eighth Gate, his endurance would skyrocket.

And a new Multiverse Ability draw? Who knew what kind of broken power he'd pull next time.

But still—

These missions were insane!

Watching Whitebeard and Red-Hair meet up?

Two of the world's strongest monsters facing each other… and he was supposed to just stroll up and "observe"? Was the system joking?

Fight a Marine Admiral for a full minute?

Sure, his power had grown a ton lately—he could probably trade a few blows with an Admiral now.

But a full-on minute? Against those monsters? That was a death sentence disguised as a challenge.

And beating four Warlords of the Sea?!

He'd already pissed off plenty of top-tier figures. Now the system wanted him to go out of his way to provoke Mihawk, Kuma, Hancock… maybe even more?

It was like the system wouldn't be satisfied until he'd offended the entire New World.

Dan's little brows furrowed for the first time.

Troublesome. Way too troublesome.

At least the missions didn't have deadlines. He could take them at his own pace.

"Master Dan, all the artificial fruits are packed up!"

Jack the Drought tiptoed over, voice low and respectful, terrified of interrupting his young master's thoughts.

These days, Jack practically worshipped the kid—down to the ground and beyond.

To him, Young Master Dan wasn't human anymore. He was a god.

Dan came back to his senses and glanced at Jack's eager face. Then his gaze swept across the terrified Donquixote executives and the trembling underworld bosses who didn't even dare breathe too loud.

"Let's go."

His soft, childlike voice carried the weight of an order no one dared defy.

Jack immediately straightened up, puffed out his chest, and roared, "Oooh-roh-roh-roh! You heard the young master! Pack it up—we're heading back to Onigashima!"

The Beasts Pirates erupted in cheers. The atmosphere turned wild as everyone started preparing to set sail.

Doflamingo could only watch his fortune—his beautiful, painstakingly accumulated wealth—sail away before his eyes. His heart bled, but he forced a grin, bowing respectfully as he sent off this pack of demons.

Then—

Dan lazily floated over to stand in front of Gild Tesoro, the Golden Emperor himself.

Tesoro froze, a cold shiver shooting down his spine.

"L-Lord Demon Child…?"

Every time he saw that innocent little face, his whole body went numb.

Dan raised one chubby finger and poked him in the chest.

"Money."

"On time."

"Or else…"

He tilted his small head, his jet-black eyes flashing with a dangerous glint.

"I'll.""Come.""Get it myself."

Cold sweat poured down Tesoro's forehead. He nodded furiously like a broken puppet. "Y-Yes! Of course! A hundred billion Berries—every last coin—delivered right on schedule to Onigashima! You have my word!"

Let this little devil come "collect" in person? His golden city wouldn't survive the visit!

Dan gave a satisfied nod, and his small figure blurred—vanishing and reappearing neatly at the prow of the Beasts Pirates' ship.

"Set sail."

Meanwhile, Marine Headquarters – Marineford.

The air in the Fleet Admiral's office was thick and heavy.

Fleet Admiral Sengoku of the Buddha sat with a deep frown, eyes locked on the report in his hands.

"Red-Haired Shanks… actually requested a meeting with Whitebeard," he muttered, voice low. "Those two monsters facing each other can only spell trouble."

Kizaru adjusted his sunglasses lazily. "The Sea Emperors never meet. If they're breaking that unspoken rule… something big's brewing, yo~."

Akainu scowled. "What the hell is Red-Hair planning?"

Aokiji yawned, drawling, "Maa~ doubt he's looking for a fight. Red-Hair's not the hotheaded type."

The movements of the Four Emperors could shake the entire world.

If Red-Hair and Whitebeard clashed, the aftermath would be catastrophic.

Just then—

"Buru buru buru buru…"

The Den Den Mushi on the desk suddenly rang.

Sengoku grabbed it, his tone stern. "This is Marine Headquarters. Sengoku speaking."

From the other end came a panicked, trembling voice, breathless and terrified.

"F-Fleet Admiral! S-something terrible's happened!"

"Dressrosa—Dressrosa—"

Sengoku's brows drew tighter. "Dressrosa? What is it now? Did Doflamingo start some new mess again?"

The voice cracked, almost sobbing. "N-no, not him—! It's Doflamingo himself—he's been defeated!!!"

"WHAT?!"

Sengoku shot up from his chair, face full of shock.

The three Admirals in the room all turned sharply, expressions hardening.

Doflamingo?!

One of the Seven Warlords of the Sea—Heavenly Yaksha himself!Ruler of the underworld—Joker!A cunning, ruthless, monstrously strong pirate!

Defeated?!

On his own turf, no less?!

"Who did it?!" Sengoku barked, voice laced with tension.

The terrified voice on the other end trembled even harder.

"It—it was Demon Child Dan!"

"The ten-billion-Berry Demon Child Dan!!!"

The room fell silent.

Even the three veteran Admirals, who had seen everything the seas could throw at them, were visibly shaken.

Their eyes flickered with disbelief—because if that name was true…

Then the Marines had just gained one hell of a new problem.

"..."
