Chapter 67 - 67. Shadows of Power.

African Coast – The Vibranium Trade

Peter POV:

The night smelled of salt and rust. Dockside lamps flickered as my drones hovered in silent formation above the water, their lenses glowing like watchful sentinels.

Ulysses Klaue leaned against a stack of crates, a grin stretching across his scarred face. "You have guts kid. Nobody walks up to me asking for ninety tons of Vibranium. Not governments. Not corporations. Nobody."

My armor hissed faintly as he stepped closer. "I am not nobody."

Klaue chuckled. "Big talk. Do you even know what you are asking. This much Vibranium could buy you a nation. Could start a war. Ninety tons for ninety billion. That's the price for my entire stock."

Without hesitation I held up a digital slate. "Transfer confirmed. Ninety billion. The Vibranium is mine."

Klaue blinked, his laugh faltering. "No hesitation. No haggling. Not even a flinch. You sound less like a boy and more like something else. Like you've seen too much."

I tilted my head, voice low and even. "Do not mistake me for a child. You wanted wealth. You have it. I wanted Vibranium. Now I have it."

Klaue licked his lips nervously. "You know what happens when Wakanda finds out. They'll come hunting."

My eyes glowed red through the mask. "They won't find me. They cannot track what they cannot see."

Above us, the drones descended like a storm. Each latched onto a crate, lifting it effortlessly. The hum of their engines grew into a symphony of power as the Vibranium vanished into the night sky.

Klaue watched in silence. For the first time in years, the smuggler felt unsettled. It wasn't the loss of his stock that chilled him. It was the way Parker spoke. As if the boy was not building weapons. As if he was building inevitability.

Birnin Zana – Monitoring Center

The holographic map of the world lit up in urgent red.

"My king!!! Ninety tons of Vibranium have appeared and vanished from what is suspected to be Klaue's cache. Energy signature lost. Completely cloaked."

T'Chaka's eyes widened. "Cloaked. How is that possible?"

Shuri leaned over the console, her voice sharp. " Pure, raw Vibranium resonates. You cannot silence it completely. And yet here… it is silent. This should not be happening."

T'Chaka's voice was heavy with authority. "Trace it."

The technician's hands shook. "I cannot. There is no trail. It is as if the Vibranium vanished into nothingness."

T'Challa clenched his fists. "Then someone is wielding science on par or beyond ours."

Shuri whispered under her breath. "Parker. It has to be Parker. Who else could bend physics this way?"

Ramonda's gaze hardened. "If this boy truly cloaked Vibranium itself then he is not a rival nor an enemy. He is a storm and one doesn't bargain with a storm."

Queens – Parker Household

The quiet suburban street shivered as three black SUVs pulled up. Doors opened in unison. Agents fanned out with the precision of soldiers who had done this many times before.

Nick Fury stepped out, long coat trailing behind him. Maria Hill followed, her sharp eyes scanning the home that hummed faintly with energy fields.

The front door opened. Uncle Ben stood calmly, May just behind him. Frank Castle moved into view, his scarred presence unmistakable. His wife and children lingered further inside, guarded but safe.

Fury gave a small nod. "Evening. Nice house. Though for a family home it's carrying the kind of shielding I'd expect on a Sci-fi forward operating base."

Ben's voice was steady. "We protect what matters."

Maria crossed her arms. "What you're protecting is a teenager who just rewrote physics. We know Parker bought something big. Ninety tons of Vibranium disappeared last night. We both know who took it."

Frank stepped forward, eyes cold. "Watch your tone agent. This house is not open for interrogation."

Fury raised a hand, almost amused. "Relax soldier. I didn't come to strong-arm anyone. I came to understand. You're harboring a kid who might just have changed the balance of the entire planet and I don't like being left out of the conversation."

Ben looked Fury directly in the eye. "Peter is our family. Whatever he builds, whatever he chooses, that's his burden. Not yours."

Fury's one eye hardened. "When a boy controls the power to cloak Vibranium, it stops being just his burden. It becomes everyone's problem. And if you don't see that, then maybe you don't understand the scale of what he's doing."

For a long moment, silence hung in the air. The only sound was the faint hum of Parker's hidden defenses running beneath the floorboards.

Finally, May stepped forward, her voice calm but firm. "Peter is not alone. That is what matters. If the world wants to treat him like a weapon, they will have to get through us first."

Fury studied the family. Frank Castle's steady glare. Ben's calm defiance. May's quiet strength. He realized then that Parker's greatest defense was not his machines or his science. It was the unshakable wall of loyalty around him.

Fury gave a thin smile. "Then let's hope the kid knows what he's doing. Because if he doesn't, none of us are ready for what comes next."

The door closed behind him. The night grew still again. But the world was no longer the same.
