Chapter 350 - Chapter 350

"Damn it! Is that guy even human? What the hell's he doing!?"

Sirens wailed through the smoke-choked streets of Manhattan. Cops huddled behind ruined patrol cars, fists slamming against twisted metal in frustration as chaos unfolded above them.

"Haha! This is fun!"

The Green Goblin cackled, drunk on destruction. The more the city burned, the wider his grin stretched. He danced across the sky on his glider like a manic circus performer, ripping off fighter propellers and hurling pumpkin bombs into cockpits as if it were all just part of his favorite video game.

"Boom!"

Flames erupted one after another. Within seconds, an entire squadron of Eagle fighters was reduced to molten debris. Smoke blanketed New York, turning the skyline into a battlefield of fire and ash.

"It's over! Is there no one who can stop this freak? Where the hell are the heroes!?"

The commanding officer who'd been barking orders a moment ago slumped to the ground, despair washing over him.

But the Goblin wasn't done. His bloodlust had only sharpened. Seeing the surviving police still daring to raise their guns, his grin twisted into a snarl.

"Hypocrites! Let me play with you!"

He dove like a missile, lasers scorching through the hail of bullets. Rifles melted in the cops' hands before they could even reload. With a cruel flourish, he swept the glider sideways, slamming a whole row of officers off their feet.

"Fall back! We can't fight this monster!"

The formation shattered. Officers scrambled, leaving their weapons and courage behind.

"Help! Somebody help me!"

"Haha! Don't be scared! I'll give you the best view in New York—for free!"

The Goblin snatched a terrified cop by the arms and rocketed upward, laughing as the man screamed until his throat went raw.

"Boom!"

Suddenly, a sharp crack echoed across the rooftops. A crimson flash streaked through the air, slamming into the Goblin's glider and knocking it off balance.

"Huh?" The Goblin steadied himself, eyes narrowing. "Finally, a decent opponent?"

Then he saw her—just a woman, standing atop a patrol car with a smoking pistol. His smirk returned, dripping with mockery.

"Too bad, sweetheart. You're not even close to my league."

"Stop talking, freak. Drop the hostage, or I'll put one right between your eyes."

Natasha Romanoff—Black Widow—had arrived. After cleaning up a Mutant Brotherhood mess, she'd hoped for one quiet night. No such luck.

Her gaze locked onto the Goblin. Cold. Merciless. The moment she saw his carnage, she'd already decided—he wouldn't be leaving this city alive.

Without hesitation, she sprinted forward, firing in rapid bursts. Bullets tore through the night, and one finally grazed his arm. Blood spattered midair.

"Argh!" The Goblin's grin twisted, eyes gleaming with rage.

"Heh. You want to die? I'll make it fast!"

Despite the bullet wound, his body regenerated instantly, muscles hardening under the serum's power.

Meanwhile, the captured cop slipped from his grip, plummeting. Natasha dropped her gun, snatched a crossbow from a police car, and fired a bolt that caught the man's uniform, pinning him safely against a wall.

The crowd gasped—then broke into applause.

"She saved him! We might actually win!"

"You idiots think this is over?" the Goblin roared. "You're all dead!"

Laser fire split the air. Natasha backflipped, twisting through the storm with lethal precision, each move like a dancer's flourish under fire.

"Not bad," the Goblin sneered. "Let's see how you handle this!"

He spread his fingers. Pumpkin bombs clinked against his gloves—eight of them.

"Let's play catch!"

"What a lunatic," Natasha hissed. She yanked the pins from two grenades of her own and hurled them right back before diving behind a building.

"BOOM!"

The explosions collided midair, shaking the street. Car alarms wailed as manhole covers launched skyward.

"Haha! You can't hide forever! Be my prey, Black Widow!"

The shockwave whipped through the street, tearing at her hair and jacket. Then—his voice again. Close.

"Didn't your parents ever tell you not to turn your back on a psycho?"

Natasha spun—but before she could fire, another figure blurred into the scene. A dark silhouette moving faster than her eyes could track, aura blazing like wildfire.

"Get lost, Goblin."

The newcomer's fist slammed into the glider, splitting it like paper.

[Ding! System Alert!]

[New Objective: Eliminate Target – Green Goblin]

The Goblin's twisted grin faltered. "You… who the hell are you!?"

The figure raised his head, crimson eyes glinting beneath a cracked visor.

"Codename: Red Mirage."
