"What—!"
With a roar like a mountain collapsing, King Kong charged at Ryuuto, rolling forward like a living juggernaut.
Ryuuto didn't flinch. He just stared at the massive mutant in front of him, studying every fiber of muscle, every twitch of that yellow-oiled skin. Power-type, clearly — Hulk and Juggernaut vibes all the way. Yet, something about this guy made his gut twitch.
Quicksilver and Magneto had never sent someone without a hidden agenda. Ryuuto could feel it: this was a trap.
Gwen, on the sidelines, was sweating bullets, hands trembling, but the way Ryuuto stood — calm, unwavering — gave her courage. She trusted him completely.
The fist came first, huge enough to stir up a gust that could topple a building.
Rock Dun! Light and Heavy Rock Technique!
Ryuuto blurred forward, moving so fast he was almost a shadow. The punch missed him by inches.
He leapt and slammed his fist into King Kong's temple at top speed, channeling the ultimate combination of Hokage data packets — Rock Lee's insane physical prowess and Tsunade's strength. Solo mode activated: Ryuuto wasn't afraid of anyone.
BOOM!
The strike landed. His knuckles screamed with power, yet King Kong… didn't even flinch. Not a twitch. A slow, playful smile curled at the corners of his mouth.
Something was definitely wrong here.
Ryuuto's eyes narrowed. Oh, this isn't a regular bruiser. Not by a long shot.
Still, why waste the fun? He dialed it back, moving in circles, probing, testing.
"Not as strong as the rumors, huh?" he taunted.
King Kong chuckled, his massive chest heaving. He moved in close, ready for melee.
"Go to your uncle, fat man!"
Ryuuto activated Eight Inner Gates — Table Lotus style. His fists became a blur, striking, spinning, hitting… all to no effect. Every punch slid off King Kong like water on oiled steel. Each strike carried a terrifying backlash, threatening to throw Ryuuto off balance.
"Haha, kid, enough?" King Kong laughed, slapping Ryuuto's shoulder casually. Contempt dripped from his gaze.
Quicksilver and Mystique watched from the sidelines, arms crossed, smirking like they were enjoying the show.
Then King Kong slammed his chest. His aura surged violently. Blood-red light ignited in his eyes. He swung his colossal fists toward Ryuuto with terrifying speed and force.
Ryuuto's mind raced. Was this guy stronger than I thought? Or had these three planned this from the start?
He took hit after hit. Even with his peak physical condition, pain shot through him like fire. For a moment, he was on the defensive — the battlefield tipping against him.
"Careful!"
A sudden flurry of red-and-silver webs shot across the air, tangling King Kong mid-swing. His fist froze in midair.
"What? Need a girl to help you now, Red Mirage?" Gwen's voice rang out, fierce and steady.
Quicksilver's eyebrows furrowed. So much power… from a seemingly ordinary college girl?
But he smirked, dismissive, stepping forward, ready to jump in. Mystique's eyes flicked — and suddenly, a pistol appeared in her hand.
"Gwen, stay out of this. Just watch me clean up these pests," Ryuuto warned, wiping sweat from his forehead. He didn't want Gwen involved — not yet.
This was no ordinary fight. Two elite mutants, a powerhouse with odd powers, and the risk to Gwen… Ryuuto refused to let her get hurt.
"I'll be careful," Gwen replied, trusting him completely. She backed away, silently watching, ready to act if the worst happened.
King Kong roared. "Hah! Enough chit-chat. Today's your death day, boy!"
He smashed through the webs with brute strength, his massive fists tearing through the sticky threads like paper. Ryuuto's eyes glinted. So that's it… the butter-like layer.
Now the truth was clear: King Kong's power came from this weird, slippery liquid coating — deflecting blows, absorbing force.
But Ryuuto didn't back down. King Kong charged again, cruel grin plastered on his face, thinking Ryuuto would freeze in fear.
Not a chance.
The fight had just begun. And this was only the opening act.
