Everyone around me was laughing, dancing, and celebrating, yet my focus was fixed entirely on Daisy the birthday girl. She was small and delicate, yet tonight, as she moved among us with a shy but radiant smile, she seemed to carry a quiet strength that drew everyone toward her. The way she laughed, the way she held her shoulders so upright despite her petite frame, it was astonishing to me that someone so small like her, Is clocking eighteen today, could already hold so much presence. Though she looks like a fifteen years old girl. I marveled at her without a second thought.
