Matthew Atkinson
Oxford, United Kingdom
Time flew, and in the blink of an eye, another month had passed.
Aside from his studies with the Fifth Layer this month, Matthew spent the rest of the month busy with other things.
His first book, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, was published this month after he submitted it to the publishing house he agreed with last month.
And, thanks to Matthew's insistence, the book was published not only in the United Kingdom but also in many countries and in large numbers.
The publishing house was initially reluctant. They wanted to gauge the book's potential by keeping the United Kingdom as the publishing country and limiting the number of copies.
But with Natalie's guarantee and insistence, the publishing house finally accepted Matthew's terms.
And after the book's publication in the middle of the month, all printed copies sold out in all countries before the end of the month, and the publishing house and its partners in other countries had to print a new edition much sooner than they had anticipated.
Matthew had no trouble guessing why.
In this world, where some lucky people gain supernatural abilities in the Holy Land, leaving most people disappointed, readers who stepped into a magical world with Harry Potter were, in a way, living out their unrealized dreams.
Natalie's role as the book's face and her recommendation sparked considerable interest.
This was Natalie's first product to advertise, and the weight of the name of the four-time SSS-grade result owner was something.
But even though most people bought the book because of Natalie's name, the real reason they recommended it to others and why the book's name spread rapidly through word of mouth was the story itself.
And as a result, Matthew Atkinson's name began to spread among people as a talented writer.
In addition to topics related to publishing his book, Matthew also worked on coding the OASIS Virtual World, which he would release in the world, using the technical knowledge he gained from James Halliday in the Fourth Layer.
But Matthew had no intention of releasing this technology immediately.
This technology would have a profound impact on many sectors worldwide.
Trade, shopping, gaming, entertainment, and many other sectors.
So many individuals and authorities would either want to obstruct it or grab a piece of the pie.
And Matthew wasn't yet strong enough to confront these people.
For now, he would make the necessary preparations and release his technology when he felt strong enough.
This was the plan he and Natalie had made together.
Also, in addition to using OASIS's standard features, Matthew planned to create a world within OASIS where people could experience the layers of the Supernatural Realm.
This way, ordinary people could safely experience the Supernatural Realm, while freshmen could experience the layers beforehand without risking their lives, increasing their chances of survival and achieving better grades.
But Matthew knew this wouldn't align with the policies of many governments. And to overcome these, he needed to become stronger and gain influence.
Because this was a world where the word of the stronger carried more weight.
On October 1st, Matthew got up very early.

......
This was Matthew's current attribute after another month had passed.
With a smile on his face, he stepped out of the sunbathing machine, washed up, and prepared to go to campus.
Today was the day the Supernatural Realm opened.
The important thing was that many big shots would be coming today, and the professor specifically told him not to arrive too late.
After opening his apartment door, Matthew spotted Ava Owen standing at the door immediately.
"Good morning, Miss Owen."
He greeted her first, then said with a smile, "I was just thinking of calling you. I didn't expect you to be ready already."
Ava Owen replied with a smile, "On such an important day, of course I have to get up early so as not to hold you back."
Matthew glanced at the time and said, "The university will provide a hearty breakfast today. If we go now, we can have it right away."
"Let's go then." Ava Owen said.
The two then walked together toward the campus.
A moment later, upon arriving at the campus gate, the two were stopped by the security guards.
"Please show your identification."
Today, the University of Oxford was even more rigorous than usual.
Because a lot of people would be coming to the campus today.
For Natalie's safety, all security personnel were extremely cautious.
Matthew and Ava Owen cooperated naturally.
After entering the campus, they found that everywhere was very lively today.
The training grounds were already crowded with people, gathered in twos and threes, chatting and laughing.
These people had an extraordinary demeanor and manner of speaking. They were clearly big shots from various sectors.
Then, Matthew saw a familiar face.
"Miss Owen, you go to the restaurant first. I saw an acquaintance. I will go and say hello."
"Okay. You go and do your business, don't worry about me."
As Ava Owen spoke, she walked towards the restaurant.
Matthew, on the other hand, went to meet acquaintances.
"Hello, Uncle Russell," Matthew greeted him.
That's right, the acquaintance was Natalie's father, Grand Magister Russell.
As Natalie's father, it's perfectly normal for Grand Magister Russell to be here.
Oh, by the way, Grand Magister Russell's current identity was no longer that of the city branch manager but that of the Royal Guild region manager, and he had officially taken office.
He held a very high position and wielded great power now.
The middle-aged men talking to Grand Magister Russell also subtly sided with him, their words tinged with flattery and obsequiousness.
Grand Magister Russell himself was in high spirits, with a confident smile on his face.
But upon seeing Matthew, the smile on his face slowly disappeared.
In response to Matthew's greeting, Grand Magister Russell nodded slightly and said, "Matthew, you haven't had breakfast yet, have you? There's some in the restaurant, go and eat first. You should enter the Supernatural Realm under the best conditions."
Obviously, Grand Magister Russell didn't really want to chat with Matthew.
He had a preconceived notion that no matter how Matthew behaved, in his eyes, he was always just a guy trying to steal his daughter away.
Matthew understood what Grand Magister Russell meant and said, "Then I won't bother Uncle Russell any longer."
After saying that, Matthew turned and left.
He didn't care about Grand Magister Russell's attitude.
If he were Grand Magister Russell, and some thug tried to steal his daughter, he could turn that thug into pieces.
Grand Magister Russell frowned as he watched Matthew's retreating figure.
He wanted his daughter to invite "Clark Kent" over, but his daughter refused, citing that Clark didn't have time.
Last time, Grand Magister Russell asked Clark to pursue his daughter, but things obviously didn't go very smoothly.
He had no idea where Clark had gone. He had tried to contact Clark several times, but his phone was always switched off.
...
When Matthew arrived at the restaurant, he found it was even more crowded.
Ava Owen was having a meal and conversation with several men and women, presumably her colleagues from the Round Table.
The professors and students were eating as well.
Without thinking much, Matthew picked up his tray and went to get his breakfast.
Today's breakfast was a buffet, and it was quite plentiful.
Matthew was halfway through his meal when his phone rang.
It was his elder cousin who called.
On the phone, his cousin said he had arrived at the campus gate, but was stopped by the security guard.
Upon hearing this, Matthew immediately ate the food on his plate in a few bites, then got up and headed to the campus gate.
At the campus gate, Matthew saw a familiar figure.
"Matt." The young man shouted at Matthew.
"Max." Matthew also called out and went to meet him.
His elder cousin. Maximus Atkinson.
To be honest, this was the first time he had met his elder cousin since he transmigrated.
The main reason was that his eldest cousin joined the military after graduation and became a soldier. It was said that he joined the supernatural unit and was rarely at home.
Maximus was 27 years old this year. He was tall and strong, with a resolute face. Every move he made had a strong military style, and he was very capable.
The other party seemed to have come directly from military duty and was still wearing a military uniform.
The guard at the gate, seeing Matthew come out to greet the stranger, immediately let Maximus pass.
In fact, Matthew had already sent a copy of the invitation letter from the university to his older cousin, and Maximus had already shown the invitation letter to the security guard.
However, invitations could easily be stolen, so having an invitation alone was not enough. Students inside also needed to come out and pick their guests, essentially acting as guarantors.
This measure was taken to prevent criminals from sneaking onto the campus grounds.
