The roar shattered the night.
Liang Yu spun, instincts blazing through the haze of poison. The air rippled — a monstrous shadow burst from the undergrowth, its form slithering between shapes like a nightmare given flesh. Scales shimmered, half serpent, half wolf, eyes burning with violet malice. The scent of corrupted qi rolled off it, heavy and fetid.
For a heartbeat, Yu couldn't tell whether it was the beast's aura or the venom inside him that made his pulse thunder.
Lian's sleeve brushed his arm as he stepped forward. "Stay behind me," he said quietly — too quietly.
But the tremor in his voice was not fear. It was control.
Yu's lips twitched. "Do you ever tire of saying that?"
The corner of Lian's mouth lifted, even as he raised his sword. "Not when you insist on getting yourself poisoned every other day."
The beast lunged. The earth cracked. Lian's blade met the strike in a blinding arc — manaflared silver-blue, the impact sending leaves spiraling into a cyclone. Yu staggered back, clutching his side. His veins burned with heat; the poison's rhythm echoed his heartbeat, too fast, too wild.
He pressed his palm to the ground and drew a talisman in blood.A new technique he learnt from the inheritance.
"Yu—!" Lian called, but too late.
A crimson sigil flared beneath the creature's claws. The explosion rocked the glade, scorching bark and hurling the beast sideways. It snarled, twisting midair, its tail lashing with enough force to split a tree in half.
Yu rose slowly, eyes glowing faintly red. "You're not the only one who can protect someone."
The poison made his voice rougher, the edges of each word sharper, hungrier.
He could feel it — the venom's strange, seductive energy whispering through his meridians. It was trying to merge with his spiritual core, to claim him.
He let it, for now.
The monster lunged again. This time, both of them moved together.
Steel and blood, light and shadow — their strikes intertwined like a dance. Lian's sword traced cold arcs through the air, precise and deadly; Yu's fire talismans ignited in bursts of gold and scarlet, weaving through Lian's movements. Every step they took echoed in rhythm — an unspoken understanding carved by countless near-deaths.
Then the beast roared, its body splitting open to reveal a second head. The sky seemed to dim.
"Demonic fusion," Lian hissed. "It's been feeding on corrupted cores."
Yu's vision blurred. "Then we'll starve it."
The creature dove. Mana surged. Lian met it midair — a flash of light as his blade pierced one skull, but the other lashed out. It caught Lian's arm, claws sinking deep.
"Lian!"
Yu's talisman flared — the ground beneath them erupted. Flame coiled around the beast, consuming the air with searing heat. The forest glowed like molten glass.
When it was over, only the sound of rain filled the silence — rain that hadn't been there before, conjured by the steam and blood. The monster's body collapsed, still twitching, before dissolving into ash.
Yu's knees gave out.
Lian caught him before he fell, one arm braced around his shoulders. The scent of iron and smoke clung to both of them.
For a moment, neither spoke. The storm whispered overhead, soft and relentless.
"Your poison," Lian murmured, brushing damp hair from Yu's temple. "It's spreading."
"Mn," Yu breathed, voice low. "I can tell. You're glowing."
Lian huffed out something that might have been a laugh — or a curse. "You shouldn't joke now."
Yu's gaze met his, fever-bright and unfocused. "You shouldn't look at me like that."
The silence between them stretched, taut as a bowstring.
Drops of rain slid down Lian's cheek, catching the moonlight. His eyes — usually sharp and cold — had softened, just barely. He raised a hand, hesitated once, then touched Yu's jaw.
"Because if I do," Lian said quietly, "I won't be able to stop."
The air pulsed with heat. Not from the poison, not from qi. From something far more dangerous.
Yu's breath hitched. The fever inside him clawed against reason. His fingers curled around Lian's robes. "Then don't."
The words broke something between them.
Lian's mouth was on his before thought could intervene — fierce, restrained, trembling. The taste of blood and rain, the warmth of breath mingling. Yu's heart hammered painfully, as though the poison had found a new rhythm to follow.
For one long, unending moment, there was only sound of saliva exchanging and tongues intertwining.
The sound of rain, the cold bite of night, and Lian's hand at the back of his neck, grounding him when everything else burned.
Then Yu pulled back, panting, lips parted. "You shouldn't have—"
Lian silenced him with another kiss. Softer this time, but no less desperate.
When they broke apart again, both were shaking , panting not from cold, not from battle, but from the unbearable closeness that hung between them.
Lian pressed his forehead to Yu's. "If we keep this up," he whispered, "I'll forget my boundaries."
Yu laughed, breathless. "Then forget it , maybe I'll die happy afterward."
"Don't," Lian said, voice sharp — too sharp. His hand tightened on Yu's shoulder. "Don't say that. Not again."
The edge of fear in his tone startled Yu more than the words themselves.
He blinked, then leaned forward, resting against Lian's chest. "You really are cruel," he murmured. "Making me want to live after all this."
Lian's hand stilled. The rain kept falling, steady and cold.
"You don't get to die," he said. "Not while I'm here."
A faint, trembling silence followed.
Then Yu smiled faintly. "That almost sounded like you care."
Lian didn't answer. His hand griped Yu's neck from behind tightly.Yu visibly tensed up "Lian what happened?".
Lian whispered in Yu's ear softly from behind " it's too late now ".
The heat, suppressed by Yu's nervousness, surged through his limbs, causing him to clutch at the collar of his shirt and squeeze his legs together.
Poison surged Yu's ger body reacted ,small streams of water flowed out uncontrollably, making the crack between his buttocks sticky and his pants soaked.Yu' face turned visibly red.Lian realised this and started removing Yu's clothes. His hand rome around Yu's body while kissing Yu's neck , back from behind.
Yu tilted his head back, and a trembling hand reached down to the hem of his shirt, kneading it close to his groin.
"Ugh..." A shallow, greasy moan, hoarse and passionate. Yu's mind, nearly overwhelmed by the aphrodisiac, gradually went blank, only wanting to soothe his squirming, wet hole and his joystick.
Lian raised his hands and grabbed Yu's cute little pink nipples, twisting them hard. Yu screamed in pain, but no sound came out.Yu and Lian were fully aroused.
Mmm... help me... Lian... please..." Yu's eyes were red as he hugged Lian neck, burying his face in it, absorbing the comforting fragrance of Lian's body. He groped for Lian's hand and reached for his genitals. "I don't want to... help me... Lian..."
Lian lowered his eyes, taking in the vast expanse of milky white skin before him. Then he took Yu's half-erect penis and gently rubbed it until it reached full erection. Then, his slender, white fingers slid down and pressed against Yu's flower hole, moist with arousal.
Ah... ah... ha..." The twisting of his fingers made Yu's sensitive inner walls contracted violently, releasing mouthfuls of sticky fluid in dissatisfaction.
Lian ignored the gushing fluids, concentrating on rubbing and playing with the ensitive wall and finding the pleasure spot with one hand while rubbing Yu's erect penis up and down with the other. He leaned forward and used his shoulder to push Yu onto the smooth rock floor . Caught off guard, Yu cried out in surprise and hugged Lian tightly.
Lian then stared at the pink nubs of flesh dotting his milky white chest, his eyes darkening as he licked them with his tongue. Beneath his hands, he curled his index finger and used his hard nail to dig into the now following hole , rubbing the glans of the penis in his hand with even greater force.
"Hmmm... haha..." The three-way stimulation made Yu, experiencing this for the first time, thrust his chest out. Using his head and hips as support, he lifted his waist in a graceful arc. His wet flower hole contracted rapidly several times before opening wide, revealing the bright red inner wall. Hot, sticky fluid gushed out of the opening, soaking the clothes beneath Yu.
Lian, who was usually quietand serious ,seemed to become even more silent now. He stared at Yu for a long moment, not missing any of Yu's subtle expressions, and adjusted the strength of his fingers according to Yu's expression.
To be continued....
