Through the passing of one thousand and five hundred million years, beneath the unyielding will of Earth's ancient fate, mankind — born of dust and breath — had long ruled the realm in the shadow of its own power and wisdom. They placed their faith in the craft of wood — in the tools and weapons carved by mortal hands — believing such artifice sufficient to command dominion over creation itself. Yet pride became their blindness, and the echo of arrogance veiled their understanding. For beneath the same sky where man strode, there stirred the ancient beasts of an elder world — the mighty lizard-kings whom later ages would call the dinosaurs.
And when the day of reckoning came, the roar of those beasts shook both earth and heaven. The ground quaked as if mountains themselves did thunder. Mankind, having forgotten humility, fell before the wrath of nature. Wooden spears splintered upon the scaled hide of the titans, and the civilization of wood crumbled to dust, scattered upon the winds of time. The very name of "man" neared extinction — until, in that twilight of despair, a light arose upon the horizon, as dawn follows the longest night.
That light bore the name Julius Caesar Augustulus.A man of snow-white skin, with curls as pale as the drifting clouds, and eyes of deep green like forests beneath frost. He was no mere warrior, but one who perceived the secret design of Heaven's will. Gathering the scattered remnants of humankind, he led them to a new land beside the vast Atlantic Sea, where he raised with his own hands a new civilization — founded upon faith and intellect.
That civilization was called "Atlantius Regnum Reich," the Empire of Light and Faith. There, Julius did not crown himself as king, but stood as the Prophet of Mankind. And he spoke the law eternal:
"Man shall not endure by the power of wood or iron, but by the strength of the spirit that yields to none."
Then he chose from among men one of virtue, knowledge, and wisdom —and entrusted him to rule the people in his stead. That man was Caesar Alectius Augustus Thorsius, who became the First Emperor of All Humankind.
Under the guidance of the Prophet and the Emperor,Atlantius Regnum Reich rose from the dust as a City of Stone. The age of wood gave way to the age of rock —men learned to quarry, to carve, to raise fortresses of their own design. And the first flame was kindled at the heart of the city, burning like a newborn star upon the face of the earth.
When the brilliance of human reason shone forth across the world, even the ancient lords of the land — the dinosaurs —bowed before the dominion of the thinking race. For they saw that "Man" was not merely flesh and bone, but a being forged of will — the maker of worlds.
Thus did the sun of Atlantius rise upon a new dawn —an age where wood became stone, stone became civilization, and civilization became the power none upon Earth could resist.
Let every age remember their names, inscribed in stone and soul alike —Julius Caesar Augustulus, the Awakener of the World from Darkness;andCaesar Alectius Augustus Thorsius, the First Emperor of Mankind.
For on the day when the beasts of earth trod upon the soil, man still stood. On the day when mountains burned, man still thought. And on the day when Heaven trembled, man still built his world by his own hand.
"Man was not born to await destiny, but to forge it — with the wisdom of the heart."
