As for the number of Album songs, yeah usually it's about 10, but if you check google, you'll see there are other examples with even 8 songs or so. But if it's a major issue, I can add a couple songs for new albums, no problem.
Now then, I am genuinely pissed by some people spreading their negativity in the comments , so I am gonna make this as clear as possible.
This is 2001, so people's taste in music is different. Timing is important for every music. Even best songs in the wrong era might be a flop. Specifically modern songs without any soul.
This era has it's own music base. Just google the top music lists and genres. I am doing my research before writing, so I am pretty sure I know what I'm doing. It's realistic as possible.
The only criticism I could accept was that the skater boy alternate version felt cringe. In my defense, I just wrote those lines in like a minute lol.
I only changed David's part, whole song is basically same. But if you can do better, post it here and I'll switch that with mine. I don't have time write songs from scratch , so if you want, you can send yours.

The 7 songs I chose were all top chart records at their time, except Take me for a ride, which came out later in 2010, by then it was hard to get noticed. But it fits the era in 2001. You can't expect mumble rap or synthetic stuff in 2001 and be famous. 🤷
And I don't consider most of the modern stuff as music, with no passion, no meaning, bad music and lyrics, female singers just shaking ass to sell albums etc.
If you are actually good, you don't need dance naked like a stripper to sell music . Mic drop.
And no artist puts all hit records in a single album. That's just stupid and bad business.
Plus the theme has to fit the album. It's a business strategy in the music industry to divide the good tracks among albums to sell more copies, and build the album around 2-3 hit tracks. Advertisement also focuses on those. Music isn't just about the songs.
Wish fulfillment is fine, but gotta have some common sense and logic. If you read my stories before, you have some idea about my style and approach. I can't just throw away my brain and write illogical stuff.

I wrote this Specially cz the mc isn't a good guy .he isn't pure evil but not good either. So if you ever question why isn't he helping others, giving out his hard earned money for nothing, there's your answer.
