Vane tossed the dagger away

The Prince raised a brow
"Strong spirited Pirate, what a catch"
Vane picked up his sword, this time he was holding it by both hands, his expressions both calm and calculated.
the Prince seemed to sense a different aura from the Pirate, but he scoffed, mostly to shake the feeling of uneasiness that been plaguing him
"Round two then".
They engaged, this time the Prince was doing the offense, Vane carefully blocked and deflected most his attacks.
Vane's New technique was thought to him by one of the strongest Knights in Spain, more to it.
it relied on being on a defensive stance untill the opponent self sabotage themselves and creat an opening.
The Prince however seemed unknowledgeable about this technique, so he kept attacking exhausting himself.
Vane side stepped slash and blocked another with his bland.
the injury on his chest make it harder to breath, but he fought, this time it wasn't for himself, but for Juliet, after all he's here for her
and maybe he'd even pick death if it meant saving her...
Vane shook his head putting his feelings aside, as he finally saw an opening for a strike.
Without any hesitation he striked the Prince to his abdomen, as if the Prince found out what's happening, he twisted his body aside
The blade missed his abdomen, but definitely hit his hard ribs.
It could have ended way worse for the Prince, but he managed to save himself from a fatal wound.
