Chapter 322 - Chapter 322: This Beauty Kills, Even Her Eyes Are Merciless!

The world had already fallen into ruin—mankind stood on the brink of extinction.

In such an apocalyptic society, the most valuable resources were food… and women.

With laws and order long gone, the survivors gave free rein to their darkest impulses. While fleeing death, they indulged in every vice without restraint.

And women—especially beautiful ones—were treated as spoils.

Now, seeing Nami's devilish figure, many men's gazes burned with hunger.

Fenric's eyes instantly turned cold.

The man leading the group glanced at his daughter, then at Fenric and Nami. His brow furrowed. He knew these men too well. If not for his protection, his daughter would have long ago been devoured by their depravity.

"Amy," he scolded harshly, "who told you to bring strangers here?"

Then, turning to Fenric, he said, "You are not welcome here. Please leave."

But as he spoke, he gave Fenric a quick, meaningful blink.

Fenric caught the signal at once. Outwardly, the man was driving them away, but in truth he was warning them—it would be safer to leave now.

Fenric smiled faintly, about to reply, when several of the others exchanged sly looks and suddenly stepped in to surround him and Nami.

"Tom, you're wrong to chase off our guests like that," a bald, musclebound man mocked. "They've come all this way—shouldn't we be hospitable?"

His grin dripped with malice. His eyes, fixed on Nami, shone with undisguised greed.

"This little beauty has a body like a goddess. I'll make sure to 'treat' her right."

"The boy looks tender too. His meat should be delicious."

"We're running low on food. These two will keep us fed for a week."

"Ha! Old Jack, don't be rough. Let the little beauty entertain us before we eat her."

"Enough chatter. You'll scare our guests."

They circled closer, voices lewd and savage, their intent unmistakable.

Cannibalism.

In the apocalypse, it was no rarity.

"Stop!" Amy cried out. "Uncle Jack, Uncle Martin—you can't eat them! They're human too!"

The bald man sneered openly. "Amy, if it weren't for your father, you'd already be in our bellies."

Amy's face drained of color. She shrank back, hiding behind her father.

Tom's face darkened. "You animals! Have you completely lost your humanity?"

"Shut your mouth, Tom!" the bald man roared. "Save that weak act. We're starving to death here!"

"Yes, boss," a younger man added. He pulled a pistol and aimed it at Tom. "If you get in the way, don't blame me when my bullet finds you."

Tom's body trembled with fury, but he dared not move. He knew too well—they would kill him without hesitation.

Once, before the world ended, they had all been soldiers, comrades in the same unit. When Skynet's nuclear fire fell, only a few of them survived—and Tom had led them through the machines' pursuit.

At first, they had followed his lead. But with order gone, suspicion and rebellion festered. Now, they barely regarded him at all.

Tom clenched his fists. He wanted to protect his daughter, but these men only cared about surviving one day at a time.

"Father, save them…" Amy whispered desperately.

Tom closed his eyes in pain. He could no longer stop what was coming.

At that moment, Fenric's calm voice cut through the tension.

"Nami. Leave that man and his daughter alive. Kill the rest."

"Yes, Master."

The beauty they had ogled suddenly moved.

She stepped toward the bald brute.

"Oh? Little girl, you like Uncle after all? Hahaha—"

His laughter cut off in a wet choke. His eyes widened in horror as blood bubbled in his throat.

Nami's slender arm had already pierced clean through his neck.

Blood streamed down her flawless skin.

The others froze, their leers vanishing, replaced by rage.

"You b**ch!"

One of the younger men shouted and fired his pistol.

"Amy, go!" Tom dragged his daughter back in shock.

Bang!

The bullet slammed into Nami's forehead, blowing open a gaping hole.

But there was no spray of flesh. No collapse.

Her beautiful, expressionless face tilted slightly as the hole closed up, liquid metal knitting back together.

With eerie calm, she withdrew her blood-soaked hand from the bald man's throat.

Thud. His body hit the floor. Dead.

Nami's eyes turned to the gunman, cold and merciless.

The survivors gasped.

"Damn it—they're robots!"

"Kill them! Kill them now!"

Weapons rose on every side. Muzzles pointed at Nami.

"Da-da-da-da!" Gunfire erupted.

But Fenric only raised his hand lazily.

His mind power surged.

Every bullet reversed course midair, whistling back into the shooters' bodies. In an instant, the attackers were shredded into bloody husks, collapsing in heaps.

Within seconds, the basement was littered with corpses.

Only two men had thrown themselves to the ground early, and now they scrambled to flee. But no matter how they ran, their feet never touched the floor.

They floated, helplessly suspended in midair.

Terror twisted their faces.

Then, Nami began to walk toward them, her arms shifting, reshaping into gleaming, razor-sharp blades.

"Don't kill me! Please! Don't kill me!"

Their screams filled the air.

What followed was a scene drenched in blood—a beautiful woman carving two men apart with mechanical precision.

"Amy, don't look!" Tom quickly covered his daughter's eyes.
