Whoosh!
The sound of something slicing through the air came from above.
Tony Stark, clad in his Iron Man armor, arrived in an instant, thrusters blazing.
In his grip, he carried another figure—
Captain America.
"Asshole! Stop what you're doing immediately!"
Seeing Fenric tampering with his precious suits, Tony completely lost his cool.
To Tony, his armors were more than just machines—they were his lifeblood. And now someone was stealing them.
When he realized that the Mark VII—the latest armor he had painstakingly developed—was already missing, his fury intensified.
His voice was like ice. "Where did you hide my Mark VII?"
The Captain stood beside him, shield in hand, staring at Fenric with sharp wariness.
Fenric, however, remained calm. He glanced at the tampered USB drive. The progress bar was only at 23%.
"Mr. Stark, you have so many suits. How about giving me two?" Fenric said casually, a smirk tugging at his lips. He was clearly stalling for time.
"What the hell do you mean by that?" Tony snapped. It was rare for him to get this angry, but this stranger's audacity was beyond tolerance.
"Jarvis, locate Mark VII!" Tony ordered through clenched teeth.
"I'm sorry, sir. All systems on Mark VII have been modified. I can no longer track or control it," Jarvis replied.
Tony's face darkened. His eyes locked onto Fenric like daggers.
"Hand over my Mark VII, and I might let you walk out of here alive!"
Fenric chuckled. "Mr. Stark, I'm afraid I have to tell you—Mark VII now belongs to me."
"Stark, he's stalling!" Captain America's eyes narrowed. He had already noticed the countdown ticking on the USB drive and called out in warning.
"Captain, let's take him down!" Tony roared, fury flaring again.
As soon as the words left his mouth, the thrusters on Iron Man's suit flared. Tony charged forward like a missile.
Captain America hurled his shield, the vibranium disc spinning through the air toward Fenric.
Clang!
The shield slammed into something solid, but instead of deflecting or cutting through, it stopped abruptly—caught in Fenric's hand.
The Captain's eyes widened. His attack had been blocked with ease.
"Captain, it's not good to throw away your things like that," Fenric said with an amused smile.
Without hesitation, he gripped the shield and hurled it back with terrifying force.
Whoosh!
The shield cut through the air like a cannonball, its speed boosted by Fenric's overwhelming strength and telekinetic force.
Bang!
Tony, who was mid-charge, didn't even have time to react. The shield smashed into his armor with enough force to leave a visible dent.
"Stark!" the Captain called out.
"I'm fine!" Tony grunted, steadying himself. Though his armor was damaged, he wasn't hurt. "Cap, keep him busy!"
Captain America retrieved his shield and rushed forward again.
But before he could even get close, he felt an invisible force restrain him.
Fenric waved his hand.
Telekinesis – Activated!
The Captain was lifted and flung backward like a rag doll, hitting the wall hard.
Tony, seeing this, immediately changed tactics.
"Jarvis, divert maximum energy to the arc reactor!"
"Energy transfer complete, sir," Jarvis responded.
"Let's see you block this!"
Tony spread his arms wide. The arc reactor on his chest flared, releasing a blindingly powerful beam aimed straight at Fenric.
Fenric, who already knew all of Iron Man's tricks, reacted instantly.
He slipped on his Riot Gloves, which expanded into a massive iron sphere.
Armament Haki coated its surface in an instant.
Boom!!
Tony's beam slammed into the iron ball, but it was completely blocked. The heat made the sphere glow red-hot, yet Fenric remained unfazed.
"Captain, Stark… you can't stop me. Save your strength."
Fenric's eyes shifted to the USB drive—
100% completed.
He tapped the Mark VI suit, and with a flash, the armor vanished into his personal warehouse.
"What… where did you hide it?!" Tony's face darkened further.
But he didn't charge in recklessly again. He had already realized that Fenric wasn't someone he could defeat easily.
Captain America stood again, shield in hand, but his heart felt heavy. This man… was far beyond anything he had ever faced.
Superpowers, strange weapons, the ability to make things vanish—
Every move Fenric made was abnormal, terrifying.
"Captain, Stark, I don't mean you any harm."
Fenric smiled, clearly pleased with the outcome.
He strolled casually toward them. "We share a common enemy—Loki. In ten minutes, the Chitauri army will invade. I'll fight to protect Earth, just like you."
"..."
Hearing that, Tony and the captain looked very ugly.
Tony's glare could even melt steel.
After all, Fenric had just stolen two of his suits, yet he was saying he wasn't an enemy.
If Tony wasn't outclassed right now, he would have already torn Fenric apart.
"I think you're more dangerous than Loki," the Captain said grimly. His instincts screamed that this man was trouble.
At that moment, Fenric heard the system prompt:
"Attention, all Samsara Players participants: The Chitauri invasion begins in 10 minutes."
"Only ten minutes left?" Fenric murmured.
Seeing Tony's furious glare behind the helmet, Fenric chuckled. "Relax, Stark. You'll always be the real Iron Man. I have my own mission to handle."
Tony's helmet retracted, revealing his face. His voice was calm but deadly serious.
"No one steals from me. No matter where you run, I'll find you."
Fenric shrugged. "You're welcome to try… but I doubt you'll succeed."
With that, Fenric walked to the edge of the balcony. Then—
he jumped.
Both Tony and the Captain rushed to the balcony, stunned as they watched Fenric plummet from the fifty-fifth floor.
As he fell, Fenric unleashed his Mind Power in full force, slowing his descent.
Om—
The invisible force hummed as it absorbed the impact.
Still, a fall from that height was brutal, and even his telekinesis couldn't cancel it completely.
Armament Haki coated his body just before he hit the ground.
Boom!
Fenric smashed into the pavement, carving a massive crater.
Pedestrians screamed, scattering in all directions.
Then, to everyone's horror, Fenric calmly walked out of the pit—
completely unscathed.
