Chapter 135 - Chapter 135: Contract Symbiote! (4/8)

Trading Center.

One Leaf Knows Autumn wore a gloomy expression and remained silent as he completed the handover with Fenric.

The man who killed his nephew!

And now, he was giving something to Fenric for free.

Even with Aurora's persuasion, One Leaf Knows Autumn still felt bitter and upset every day.

If tonight's events reached the ears of his elder brother and sister-in-law, who knew what they would think of him?

The moment the transaction ended, One Leaf Knows Autumn vanished without saying another word, unwilling to linger even a second longer.

Watching One Leaf Knows Autumn's retreating figure in the distance, Fenric remained expressionless—but inwardly, he sneered.

He would never change his view of One Leaf Knows Autumn, even if the man had withdrawn the reward.

To Fenric, this man would always be a mortal enemy.

"Shura, according to Belle, are you heading into a dungeon tonight?" Aurora asked.

"Yes," Fenric replied with a nod.

"Aren't you being a little too hasty?"

Fenric smiled faintly. "I know what I'm doing."

Aurora sighed. "Alright then. Belle, I'm counting on you."

After that, the three of them parted ways.

There was still more than an hour before 3:30 a.m.

Fenric needed time to assign attribute points, while Belle Morwyn had preparations of her own.

Entering a dungeon in the Samsara Tower was no joke. Failing to complete the mission meant death. Proper preparation was essential.

Personal Warehouse.

With 100,000 points, Fenric converted them all into potential points—earning 200 in total.

Originally, he had intended to enhance his Conqueror's Haki. But unsure if it would be effective against the symbiote, he decided instead to use the points to increase his attributes.

Attributes were raw power!

Even if it wasn't the most optimal choice, it was certainly not the wrong one.

He distributed the 200 points according to the best ratio.

After allocation, Fenric's attributes were:

Name: Shura

Samsara Number: (Zone C) 90086

Physique: 120 → 155

Spirit: 230 → 310

Strength: 155 → 203

Agility: 115 → 155

Potential Points Available: 0

Skills:

English (Proficient)

Driving (Beginner)

Shooting (Proficient)

Camouflage (Master)

Basic Blade Techniques (Proficient)

Special Skills:

Conqueror's Haki (Proficient)

Armament Haki (Master)

Combat Skills:

Abilities:

Telekinesis

Samsara Points: 22

Overall Rating: B

This was Fenric's current state!

His Strength attribute had surpassed 200.

A punch from him now would be comparable to getting hit by a speeding truck—deadly and devastating.

His Spirit attribute had broken past 300, heightening all five senses (and even a sixth), and giving him far more control over his telekinesis.

Suddenly, Fenric's thoughts stirred. He poured all his energy into a single command.

His body slowly lifted off the ground.

Although he could only float for a few seconds before he lost control and landed again, Fenric laughed.

He had seen the possibility of flight!

It wouldn't be long before he could fly freely using only his mind.

In fact, with his current mental strength, Fenric could already move objects weighing five to six hundred catties with ease. Throwing enemies with telekinesis? No problem.

But using that same power to make himself fly was another matter entirely.

Force is reciprocal.

It's like trying to lift yourself off the ground by pulling your own hair—impossible.

To fly using telekinesis, he'd need his mental strength to be so overwhelming that it could influence the air around him and create lift.

He was close—but not quite there yet.

While Fenric was preparing, Belle was also making her own arrangements.

"Bell, do you still have the healing potion I gave you last time?" Aurora asked.

"Yes!" Belle replied. "I haven't used it yet."

"Good. By the way, is Shura forming an alliance with you?"

"No."

"No?" Aurora looked puzzled. "Then what does he want you to do?"

"Great God Shura asked me to gather weapons with wide-area destruction capabilities. Then I'm supposed to wait for further instructions."

"Oh?"

Aurora Morwyn was momentarily stunned by the answer.

She had also cleared the Fourth Stage and knew the dungeon was Venom. According to online guides, there were no more than four symbiotes in the entire scenario.

Clearly, Shura was preparing for a mass extermination of symbiotes.

Suddenly, her eyes gleamed with realization. "It seems Shura has discovered something others missed… Maybe he's found the location of the symbiote nest?"

"Belle, just follow his lead. Don't get distracted. For my sake, he won't let you fail the mission."

Belle nodded eagerly. "Don't worry, Cousin. I'm not that dumb. With such a thick thigh to cling to, why would I try to act on my own? I'll just follow him obediently!"

Aurora chuckled. "That's the right attitude. Go on then. Be careful. I'll be waiting for your safe return."

"Wait, Sister—one more thing. Shura asked me earlier… He wants to know what Devil Fruit you ate."

Aurora's expression darkened instantly. She glared at her cousin. "Did you tell him?"

Startled by her cousin's sudden intensity, Belle shook her head frantically. "No, no! Absolutely not! I really didn't say anything!"

"You'd better not! If you dare spill that secret—I'll slice open the part of you with the most meat!"

3:30 AM.

Fenric appeared at the entrance of the Samsara Tower.

Without hesitation, he used a cooldown reset card to refresh his dungeon access.

He stepped forward—and was instantly transported to the Fourth Stage.

A system spirit materialized before him.

"Greetings, Dear Samsara Player Shura. How may I assist you?"

"I want to enter a dungeon," Fenric replied.

"Very well. Please choose the dungeon world you wish to enter."

With a wave of her hand, a holographic screen appeared before him.

Two dungeon options were displayed:

Strange Shapes (Easy)

Venom: Deadly Guardian (Difficult)

Fenric had already made up his mind.

Without hesitation, he selected the difficult dungeon: Venom.

In the next instant, he was teleported into a white preparation room.

To his surprise, there were already over a dozen people present.

Not far away, Belle spotted him and waved with a bright smile.

Fenric nodded in acknowledgment, then swept his gaze over the other Samsara.

There were many competitors tonight.

Not wanting them to interfere with his plan, Fenric suddenly raised his voice:

"Listen up, everyone. I'm Shura! In tonight's dungeon, I hold all four symbiotes! If you want to back out, now's your chance. Otherwise, you can try your luck—see if you can beat me!"

His words were thunderous—absolutely domineering.
