Chapter 4 - Chapter 4

Blossom lay passed out on the rooftop, her hair spread out mixed with puke. Her shirt ripped open, fluttered in the wind, showing her bra and the burn on her collarbone, looking like a nasty laceration. The wind billowed again, flicking her skirt before it settled, covering her a bit.

At that moment, the door to the rooftop opened. A tall, slim boy stepped onto the roof, the wind flicking his long black hair wildly as he yawned. With a sigh, his hair settled messily, framing his handsome face, which gave him a lazy aura.

His eyes filled with shock as they locked onto Blossom's form. He approached her, kneeling, and shook her gently.

"Hey, classmate?" She groaned, furrowing her brows without waking up.

With a frown on his face, he reached out to button her shirt up. Then he reached into his bag, pulling out a water bottle, opening it, and he slowly poured it into her hair, carefully to only get the water in her hair. Using his hand to scrub at her hair, he washed the puke out of it.

After using the full bottle to wash her hair clean somewhat he squeezed the water out before carefully lifting her in a princess carry. Taking her downstairs to the nurse's office as fast as possible.

As he rushed down the hallway holding the passed-out Blossom, Hannah, standing in the hall, watched him rush by, her eyes widening in shock before a smirk grew on her face. Once he turned the corner, she turned and rushed down the hall to find Jianna with an evil smirk.

In the nurse's office, a groan drifted out of an enclosed area. The office inside lay Blossom, whose eyes fluttered open. She slowly sat up with a groan and looked around, confused.

Outside the closed-off area, the nurse looked over at the sound and stood up. Opening the curtain, she looked at Blossom, who blinked at her, confused.

Blossom tensed when she entered, but slowly relaxed, looking up at the sweet smile of the nurse whose white coat easily showed her smooth curves.

"Rise and shine, sweety!" The nurse sang out with a smile, opening the curtains completely.

"How is everything feeling? Hmm?" She asked, walking over, checking on her bandages. Blossom gave her a nervous, shy smile.

"Um, I'm ok, thank you." Blossom nodded her head gently, her long hair falling towards her chest, framing her cute face.

The nurse, seeing this, felt her heart melt.

"Well, you are so sweet looking, tell me what happened, let me see if I can help." Hearing her words, Blossom's body tensed, and she pressed her lips together tightly, refusing to speak. A memory of what happened with the teacher flashed by, strengthening her resolve. Seeing this, the nurse's heart seemed like it melted again, and with a heartbroken expression, she held Blossom's hands together showing how heart she felt she was.

"I want to help, trust me, and tell me what happened." Blossom hesitated and decided to try one last time to get help.

Hearing Blossom's explanation of what has been happening, the nurses went pale, looking at her with wide eyes. Blossom, after waiting for a response for a while, looked up and saw that her heart dropped, already knowing her response to what had happened. She gave the nurse a depressed blank expression.

"U..Um, that boy over there is the one who brought you to the office today." The nurse, trying to change the subject, pointed to the sleeping boy. Without changing her expression, she turned to look in the direction of her finger.

There, her eyes widened, locking onto Liam, who lay on the small couch in the nurse's office, sitting below the window. He had his arm across his face, blocking most of his face from view and keeping the sun's setting rays from his eyes. His long black hair lay splayed out on the couch, and his long legs hung off the armrest awkwardly, but he somehow made that position look comfortable.

Blossom's face heated up as she gazed at him, slightly dazed. The nurse approached him and leaned down, shaking him.

"Wake up, dear. Your classmate woke up." She said still slightly pale. With a grunt and a yawn, he lifted his arm, slowly sitting up. His expression showing discomfort, he slowly stretched his back with a loud pop sounding through the office.

"Man, this couch is uncomfortable. Remind me to never sleep here again." He groaned deeply.

"Hush now, you looked comfortable enough with how deeply you slept." The nurse waved him off and turned to leave the office.

"Well, like I said, your classmate woke up, so go check up on her." With a bang, the door closed behind her as she left those words. Hearing what she said, Liam's dark eyes locked with Blossom's glossy almond eyes. Noticing him look at her, she flushed, embarrassed.

He stood up from the couch and approached her, his tall form casting a shadow across her on the bed.

"Are you ok? I found you on the roof. It looked like you got beaten up." He asked, worried looking, her up and down, his eyes lingering on her bandages. Blossom's face flushed bright red at his worried questioning.

"Um, yes, I'm fine." She nodded her head gently. He frowned at her, taking in her mannerisms and flushed face.

"You don't seem like the type to fight, so something must have happened, so tell me." He said this sternly, causing Blossom to flinch and go pale.

"It was nothing, don't worry about it." She said softly, shaking her head in refusal. He frowned, taking in her expression before looking at the bed she sat in.

"Well, that bed you're lying on looks way more comfortable than the couch I was lying on." He said, groaning, running his hand through his hair, causing Blossom to flush once more. Giggling, she looked up at him with her flushed face, looking extremely adorable and pitiful due to the bandages.

"You looked like you were gonna fall off before." She said, covering her mouth to stop from falling into a fit of giggles. Chuckling, Liam shook his head.

"I thought my back was gonna break." Hearing this, Blossom burst into a fit of giggles, her body shaking from how hard she's laughing. Her face, covered by bandages, seemed to shine, showing a hint of her hidden beauty. Liam, with a smile on his face, uncontrollably stared at her, a hint of something unknown flashing across his face.

As her laughter calmed down, he finally snapped out of it and, clearing his throat, he hid his slightly flushed expression by pulling out his phone, checking the time.

"Um, school ended about an hour ago now so you don't have to worry about class." Blossom's eyes widened in shock, and she quickly jumped out of the bed, not really thinking about how clean her hair is or how her clothes are fixed.

"Oh no! I need to hurry home before my parents worry too much." She said, then bent over and pulled her shoes on as quickly a possible. Liam's eyes locked onto the raised back of her skirt before he quickly looked away, flustered.

"Well, I need to go home and get more sleep, preferably in my bed this time." He said calmly with a smile as he forced himself to calm down. Blossom stood straight with a big smile on her flushed face. They both stopped by the empty classroom to get their bags before slowly leaving the school.

"I think the best way to sleep is on your back," Liam said, looking down at Blossom, who kept her head lowered, kicking her feet shyly as they walked.

"Um, I usually sleep on my side, hugging a pillow or something, it's very comfortable." She said softly, tucking her hair behind her ear.

"No, no, see if you sleep on your side, then you will have back pain. I saw it online." Liam said proudly, his eyes lighting up just talking about it. Blossom looked up at him and giggled softly.

"Is that so? I will try out that position tonight." She said, looking up at him innocently. Hearing her words, Liam's head jerked down in shock before he noticed her innocent gaze. He then turned his head away, blushing lightly. With a cough, he nodded his head in agreement with her.

"Yeah, you should and tell me about it tomorrow." He said as they stopped at the gate.

"Um, I have to go that way," Blossom said, pointing in the direction of her home. Liam looked over and noticed that it is the way that is pitch black at night because the lights are currently out.

"Be safe." He said with a smile, his handsome face seemingly drawing all the darkness inside her away, causing her to blush heavily. Spinning around, she ran off, embarrassed. Liam watched as she ran his eyes, locking onto her legs and her fluttering skirt, before he turned and walked home, his face slightly red, unknowingly.

Standing at a window inside the school, Jianna stood with Olive and Hannah flanking both sides of her, glaring hatefully at Blossom's running form.

"See, I told you I saw her with Liam," Hannah said gleefully, pointing at the window.

Olive sat on an empty desk, her legs crossed, shining from having been recently moisturized. She held a lollipop at her lips as her tongue flicked out, licking it.

"The slut obviously doesn't know her place going after Liam." She said, looking out the window, a hint of anticipation filling her eyes. Hannah, grinning maliciously, glared at the small dot that got farther away from the school.

"Of course she did, since she even tried seducing my Andrew." She said, huffing. Olive shot her a glance, causing her to shrink back.

"Girl, nobody wants that dude you call your man, trust me," Olive said, rolling her eyes.

Jianna ignored their conversation, gritting her teeth angrily, her face turning red from how angry she felt.

"Guys, we are gonna ruin that slut for trying to take my man." She said hatefully. Hannah bounced happily at her words, and Olive just nodded, an unsurprised expression on her face.

"Of course, but when?" Olive said with a pop, pulling her lollipop out of her mouth, her long locs held partly in a half bun framing her pretty face. Jianna turned to look at them, her eyes wet from anger, causing her lashes to get stuck together, giving her a sad beauty look.

"Like usual, in between classes. Also, I'm bringing a knife, I need to ruin that face that's seducing my man. I bet if her face is ruined, he won't ever look at her again." As she spoke, Jianna nibbled at her thumbnail crazily, her eyes wide as she stared at the ground.

Hannah took a few steps back, uncomfortable. Olive glanced at her before walking up and bending over, getting into Jianna's view without touching her. Her pretty eyes fluttering as she looked up at her, licking her glossy lips, she spoke.

"Don't worry, Jianna, we will get everything done tomorrow." She said soothingly. Jianna looked at her, her lip wobbling as she sniffled.

"Olive, am I ugly? Why did he have to go after that slut? It must be by face right?" Jianna said, sniffling. Olive smiled and sat back on the desk, parting her legs and opening her arms. Jianna, seeing this, rushed over into her arms, sobbing into her neck.

"You're not ugly, that girl is just a slut that naturally seduces me. You know how those girls are." Olive said, one hand rubbing circles on her back, the other gently petting her neck. She leaned over, pulling Jianna closer, and pressed her nose into her hair, slowly breathing her scent in as she sobbed. Hannah watched everything with wide eyes, confused about what she was seeing. Olive, without moving her face away from Jianna's hair, glared at her in warning before she opened her mouth.

"Don't worry, Jianna, I will make sure she is ruined like usual. Together, ok?" Jianna lifted her head, her face streaked with tears, and nodded.

 "Ok."

"Yeah!" Hannah called out, wanting to show she would help as well and hoping she could become friends with them, too.
