Rihan watched Taeryn, Jisoo, and Gihun by the car. Jisoo was back to his energetic self, Gihun slapping the back of his head while Taeryn sat on the trunk, which was still wet from the earlier rain.
Taeryn didn't seem to care.
And they weren't talking about the Serpents anymore. Just their jobs for the day.
A few feet away, Rihan stood staring at his phone as it rang with Minjae's name flashing on the screen.
For some odd reason, Lee Haejin crossed his mind. The bastard had taken a good case away from him.
Was he dead now or something?
Rihan picked up the call and pressed the phone to his ear.
"Rihan! There are some people looking for you at the station," Minjae said immediately, and Rihan raised a brow.
"Find out what they want. I'm on my way."
"Okay, on it," Minjae replied before Rihan hung up.
Rihan walked back toward Taeryn and the others. "I have to go to the station, Bunny. Jisoo, can you drive him anywhere?"
"Yup," Jisoo grinned, teasing Taeryn.
