Mary looked at me flatly. "Your Highness, if you don't calm down, your hair ribbon will come undone again."
Clara, on the other hand, immediately shone like a lantern in the night. "Milady! You look charming! If the Witch doesn't fall in love today, it means his eyes are covered in strawberry pie!"
We looked at each other—and in an instant, our hands dramatically clasped together like two women who had just won tickets to their favorite idol's concert.
